The room was great overall, with one problem (see below). The room was clean and comfortable. I had extensive conversation with the owner, who gave me some valuable tips about the local real estate market, which is what I was there to check out.

The shutters did not sufficiently shut out the light at night and the early morning sun, making it harder for me to sleep. This a common problem at most motels. I spoke with the owner, and he said that they intend to install room-darkening drapes over the shutters, which should solve the problem.

The staff was fantastic.. very friendly and accommodating. We arrived mid afternoon... and checked into our room. We were reading before meeting our friends for dinner at 6 pm. The room next to us had some very noisy people and we could easily hear them. When we were leaving for dinner; one person from the room next door was at the trunk of her car. I very calmly said, "I hope that when it is bedtime that you are more quiet." She yelled at me numerous times..."Don't talk to me !!!." When we returned from dinner , we stopped in the office and talked to a staff member, telling him of the noise and the very rude and boisterous woman from next door. I asked if he could move us to another room. At first he said that he would talk to her. I pointed out that she probably would not listen to him and that in retaliation that she would probably get louder. He did move us, thankfully

We booked a std 2 queen bed and were upgraded to a bigger 2 bed kings room, which was very big and super clean. We even had a Jacuzzi in the bath which was a binus. Owner went out of his way to help me with laundry and also guided me to a good point to enjoy the lake. Ample parking available.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff made my bed and replaced towels daily.

The spigot in the bathroom had a slight drip.

The only thing I would improve on is perhaps provide EV charging on site. I could have asked about an outdoor outlet to charge my car but I didn't ask. The person at the front desk was super helpful and friendly.

Best motel/ hotel along the lake , clean and close to a local restaurant.

Price a little high for a motel. No other issues

The property was in a beautiful location and pet friendly. It was a cosy little cabin. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The lighting was a bit dim.

Ran the hot water in the sink for full minute several times. Never did get hot water

We are building a house not far from the lodge So we stay here often it’s clean, the staff are so kind and the room is reasonably priced
