A beautiful hotel with all the comforts of a 4-star hotel, yet intimate and charming. A perfect blend of comfort and nature. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The green spaces are magnificent. I would be delighted to recommend this establishment for all the attention to detail, both aesthetically and in terms of room comfort, excellent linens, cleanliness and attentive service. We had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay at the Habitation Saint Charles. This place is truly a very special pearl, located in a rural area and surrounded by nature, far away from any noise of civilization. If we return to Guadeloupe, we will definitely come back!

If we are talking about breakfast I think they can still tweak and reconfigure here. About the staff, on arrival they didn't accept to leave our suitcases in/at the reception because they didn't have a luggage storage room or it was full. We arrived at 14:00 and check in was at 15:00. For this hour of waiting we did not see any kindness from the reception staff.

I had a truly marvelous and relaxing stay at Habitation Saint Charles. This place is truly a very special pearl, located in a rural area and surrounded by nature, far away from any civilization noise. Colourful plants and lights—deliberately chosen and placed—singing birds and ambient music—playing from somewhere you can't really tell—the natural pool with basalt stone flooring, the whole atmosphere transcends you instantly into a realm of serenity and joy. The hotel service was superb, at all times, always welcoming, helpful and passionate, with dedication. The restaurant is excellent, I had dinner three nights and was never disappointed. The dishes all special and delicious, making a noticeable difference to what I experienced elsewhere so far. I booked one a the small rooms with a terrace, it was nicely decorated, some fresh flowers and vanilla incense sticks, a large fridge, neat bathroom with stone tiling, and swinging doors in front of the terrace, which block almost every light when closed, perfect. Super comfy bed, I slept like a baby.

I can hardly think of anything. My room did not have a safety deposit box (I believe, maybe I did not find it), but I didn't care and did not ask about it. In the bathroom, I missed a shelf above the sink or somewhere to place some personal stuff.

Bungalow with plunge pool - perfect for cooling down on a hot day! Superb swimming pool. Very attentive and helpful staff throughout our stay and they presented us with a fruit platter & punch to mark our 25th wedding anniversary! Servicing of room available each day. Large fridge freezer. Quiet and relaxing location. Extensive selection of breakfast provisions.

There is nothing we didn't like but we have some suggestions: Separate lunch menu - sometimes you just want some "light bites" Vegetarian choice on main course Wider choice of beers & cocktails

This was such a wonderful stay! We were made to feel so welcome in the gorgeous hotel - the grounds and pool are beautiful and the bungalow was stylishly decorated with lots of amenities. The sheets were pristine, the bathroom was clean and there were lots of towels. The staff were kind, smiling and I particularly enjoyed meeting Leyla who was so kind to us and tolerated my French! You will feel incredibly relaxed here, especially when eating the delicious breakfast on the terrace!

Just gorgeous landscaping with luxuriant vegetation. Very quiet location. The cuisine was consistently excellent, French dishes with a Caribbean twist. Excellent service too. The room was perfectly decorated with local furniture, lots of rotin , and a large balcony overlooking the magnificent grounds. The king size bed was extremely comfortable too. Tatiana, the manager, and her team, were just fantastic in every area. The whole team was always so friendly and eager to help! Certainly a place to recommend!!

Amazing place very close to la Route de la Traversée. Clean and spacious room and we had a good time just resting on our balcony. The pool is really great and the restaurant served delicious food. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

very beautiful and idyllic location

One of us is vegetarian but after the staff told us that is not a problem we decided to eat in the hotels restaurant anyways. First, our waiter rolled his eyes to the information that I am a vegetarian. Than I got a Quinoa salad instead of the asian noodles with veggies that I ordered without any explanation or asking. I felt very uncomfortable with this situation…Also the waiter did not speak English at all, luckily one of us speaks french.

The staff very welcoming and kind ,They couldn’t do more to make us feel happy and good in our honeymoon! It was a pleasure to walk up and talk to them during breakfast and enjoy their cocktails for the evening

Very clean rooms with large beds... Helpful staff operating in an idyllic setting...

As the location is further out of town, more extended restaurant hours would suit late arrivals.
