Oooh my 🙆‍♂️💖💖the rooms smelled fresh, immediately when we walked in, we could smell the freshness of the rooms 💖💖& we were assisted by a lady called MaDlamini 😅😅that's a free spirit team u have there, the love and care we received, it was outstanding 💃💃🥰🥰I'm coming back soon, my daughter who is 1 year old moved around freely, my husband slept like a baby 😅🥰💃

Unfortunately the premises didn't have baby cots, we would love fr them 2b available incase Moms like us have newborns🥰🥰

Shoes Guest house is the best, very clean, modern and beautiful place. Friendly host and staff and they attend to every need or question that we had. Very accommodating, they allowed us an early check in, thank you Bongi and the owner you the best!

There was a bit of noise early hours of the morning on our first night, other guests checking in made noise and were laughing out loud with the host, please be aware of the impact on other guests, thanks

The welcoming and secured environment in general. The reception we received from the lady calling herself MaDlamini was the best ever. She went an extra mile to ensure our comfort . Her excellenet orientation skills and her warmth made this place a home away from home.. She is people centric and values her clients . Another thing , rooms and linen are spotlessly clean . It is also worth to mention is delicious breakfast in a very neat dinning room. Another plus factor is an automated generator to curb loadshedding challenge. . There is a small shopping centre nearby and was so convinient for us .

I loved the place it's beautiful. From the gate, reception, the host and lastly the room it's self.. The host has a Beautiful heart and the favor she did for us was exceptional.. The place is clean.. Kuhle mani phaya. You must go see it you won't regret it. Jonga we had booked Shoes 2 and we did not notice and went to shoes 1 where sana we were welcomed with a smile, tired and all when she realized we were not allocated accommodation there she assisted us and gave a room that was free because it was late. I appreciate her so much she's a darling.

Ample space in the bathroom and the bedroom. There was a TV, kettle, microwave, generator. Sis Bongi greeted us out front and even offered to carry our luggage, making us feel like royalty. Whenever we visit Mthatha, we will be staying here.

We were allocated to the room, which is directly in front of the smoking area/patio. I'm a very light sleeper, and I struggled to fall asleep as there were people socializing outside till late. I would suggest perhaps moving this location to a different area in the yard. The smell of smoke should also not be the first thing people encounter when they stay at this lovely establishment.

Secured environment , welcoming best ever by MaDlamini. She went an extra mile to make the place a home away from home. That caring hospitality is one of the best in the country. Rooms are spacious and clean. Alson worth to mention is the delicious breakfast. Automated generator gives the peace of mind from loadshedding challenges.

The place is well secured and easy to find. The reception was exceptionally well from the lady called MaDlamini. Her welconing spirit made the place to be home way from home.. Rooms were spacious and clean. They provided a delicious breakfast . It is worth to mention an automated generator which made our stay convinienent even during loadshedding. There is a small shopping centre around a kilometer which helped us to buy our staff.

The staff was friendly and very helpful especially the manager BONGI very friendly. on our first day she helped us to order food using her own money.. she was checking on us almost everyday. ideal area, friendly host MISS BONGI, safe parking, close to attraction areas and easy to find. i will really recommend this guesthouse to evertyone.

I loved everything about the place. The location, the cleanliness and Noni who was our host, what a lovely Woman. Definitely my place when i go to Mthatha. If you want to enjoy your stay, book this place. My husband and I loved it. Noni was such a great host, so friendly and welcoming

My friendly welcome from the lady "MaDlamini" she is so sweet.Place looks better than the pictures on Booking.com, the walkin shower is big enough with a rain shower head, hot water ALL THE TIME was impressed especially for a Guesthouse. Loved the comfortable bed,room and bathroom is big and clean with lovely soft bath sheets, loved the fact that the room had a fridge and microwave. The property is in a quiet area and they have electricity fence so you feel safe especially since you are in Mthatha. Safe secure parking for the vehicle, they have an electric blanket and extra blankets for the cold .Absolutely enjoyed my stay will definitely be coming, thank you for the warm hospitality.

The WiFi signal was weak and sometimes disappeared. The only thing I can suggest is please have a place to hang our towels ,like maybe behind the bathroom door those hooks.
