I could write a novel about how good my experience was at this guest house. Their rooms have a fridge, TV, Dstv, ironing board, iron and aircon . They have a back up power supply and electric duvets. Our rooms were cleaned to perfection every single day and I received a new shower cap every day. They have a big kitchen with all kitchen supplies, including an airfryer and our dishes were washed for us. We had an awesome experience and I’m never sleeping at a family house again. Whenever I visit Mthatha I’ll be booking at Shoes lol :)

Everything was excellent, The lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, she knows how to treat people, the place was clean and linen n towels very neat aswell as the rest of the staff

Nothing of much importance, but i would maybe advise that you have side lamps in the rooms because room 2 did not have any aswell as a hairdryer but luckily i had brought my own

Room service, customer care ,the communication was perfect with good understanding 👌 .TV was playing very well , and the Wi-Fi connection was fluent with the perfect network connection .hygiene was Ausome

The property was OK

I was woken in the early hours by someone trying to get into my room. I suspect that was a mistakeby them. I was also scammed big time by a couple of local lads - be very careful who you speak to in the neighborhood when you leave.

Great location so peaceful, room was tidy so as the linen, friendly receptionist. There's an iron, ironing board, bar fridge, kettle in the room. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely book again should i need a place in UTA.

There was no WiFi signal throughout our stay, TV couldn't play.

Shoes is clean, and comfortable. I really enjoy the location as well. It's quiet and convenient. Loved the fact that they have back up if you think of catching up with work even though the Wifi expectedly gets affected. and their breakfast

It would be nice to have a kettle for coffee and consider those who like toasted bread. Also suggest that a freshener should be applied especially after a smoker occupancy.

Staff very friendly and helpful when I encountered some issues there, they were quick to come up with a solution. 😂😂They also had the bathroom in the wardrobe; I thought that was quirky and a bit funny. Quite possibly the highlight of my stay

Neatness, staff was friendly, we had a problem with hot water and they responded quickly and only to find that we didn't open the tap the right way, ther was no problem at all.

The only thing I didn't like, is powered milk, I don't use powered milk, there are milk sachets they should use fir their guests.

The Receptionist was very friendly, and the room spacious and comfortable.

Bed pillows were not comfortable, but no different from those used by most hotels. We therefore travel with our own pillows. The basin is difficult for shaving, with no mirror, and the washbasin plug leaks badly. Wi-fi was erratic in the room.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The place is very neat. And their service is top tier♥️

The guests who came in and were making noise until midnight.
