Rosie was amazing. She was very helpful and attentive, especially for this non Spanish speaking couple. The hotel is in an excellent location right on the plaza with several restaurants and things to see.
It’s a bit tattered around the edges. The floor in our room was in dire need of replacement.

Awesome staff, good sized, clean room. Good restaurant on site as well as a variety of options within walking distance of the great downtown location. Very accepting of our dog, which is quite unusual in Mexico.
Very tall bed - difficult for this old guy to climb in! (Once in bed it was very comfortable). Room lacking fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket (no ice maker anyway, had to go to the bar for ice).

The ground level was nice and the restaurant area was very clean. the location is easily the highest points the hotel can have. Perfect location in Tampico!
Once we got to our rooms, it was looking very old and dated. This might have been a luxury hotel at some point, but it seems those days are behind them.
