The Suites were in the center of town, across the beautiful duomo. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully appointed and the bed is very comfortable. Upon arrival the receptionist invited us for a drink or tea outside the bakery that belongs to the Suites. So nice! We slept well and enjoyed the gratuitous Cappuccino and baked goods the next morning. We had to pack up rather quickly to get on the road, and forgot a pair of airpods that fell under the bed. The hotel found them and shipped them to us in Switzerland. So so nice! And generous. We highly recommend Il Duomo Suites and were happy to spend a night in Pietrasanta. Mille Grazie! Ad un altra volta!

What a delightful find! We were in a very open and spacious room on the piazza, next to the cathedral, upscale shopping, art galleries and public art. You didn’t feel like a foreign tourist, you felt more like an Italian on a beach holiday (a very short drive to the beach). The room itself was very comfortable, the water in the shower was instantly hot, the bed comfortable and the pastry choice for breakfast was wonderful. Parking was free at the train station a few hundred meters away.

My husband did not like hearing the church bells on the hour...I liked it.

Amazing hotel, you couldn't have a better location, right in the center on the main plaza. They have the best cafe which a lot of locals go to, I loved my stay there, felt very relaxing, and felt like home. Also the town is so pretty!! Very happy with my stay

Maybe some eggs for the breakfast, or like options for a more continental breakfast with fruits, yogurt, etc. It was only pastries/sandwichs, and a cold and hot drink. But it didn't disturb me much, the pastries were really good and you have tons of choice! :)

I loved the size and style of the room. It seemed very new, elegant and cozy at the same time. Loved that the owners have the pastry shop just below so you have an amazing breakfast included and you are in the central square of this exquisite little town. oh, another amazing thing is that pets are allowed and well cared for. Although the hotel has a parking for private cars be careful not to drive directly to the hotel because it's inside the "car free" zone but check with the hotel before hand so you can access their close by parking. We nearly got fined but the hotel was very kind to take care of that for us.

The room was exceptionally comfortable and stylish with fabulous bathroom facilities. Located in the central square of this quaint town above an exceptional patisserie where a tasty breakfast was provided, Michelangelo provides great accommodation. All the staff were friendly and helpful. All facilities were clean and fresh and I appreciated the fabulous bathrobe after freshening up in the luxury walk in shower. While Pietrasanta is a small town, we were able to enjoy relaxing in the local cafes/bars and also hopped on a train to explore the nearby Cinque Terre easily. The station is only 5 mins walk from the accommodation.

This is a fabulous find. Our room and all aspects of the suites were beautifully clean and great thought had been put into the art and sculptures around the common areas. We were greeted with coffee and cakes from the cafe below and made to feel very welcome. The location could not be better with the lovely cafe /bar below and it outside seating affording a view over the whole piazza. A two minute walk to the station gave simple access to Florence, Lucca and the Cinque Terre. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and huge and the bathroom modern with a rain shower. Would recommend this to anyone

Not the property’s problem but there was an early morning crowd gathered in square which woke us up and also the church bells

Fantastic location with the best breakfast in the square! Newly updated rooms and design, with the best shower I used in my 10 day stay in Italy. Fantastic value! Loved the communal area. Super helpful and friendly staff.

You can hear the church bells in the morning but I didn't mind that so much and still slept well.

Stylish decor, exceptionally good bathroom, great location in the heart of the city, wonderful breakfast with helpful staff.

Although the facilities were very fashionably designed some of the small practicalities have been overlooked, such as a lack of hooks, hangers, cupboards and shelves meaning having to live out of one’s suitcase.

I did not know where to check in how to check in or how to go to when I first arrived in the Piazza. I was luckily able to ask a random person where the B&B was and she happened to work there and was so super kind to me.
