Excellent accommodation located in the city center, few steps away from the main street with bunch of restaurants and bars near by. Owned and managed by a lovely lady and her family who were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They can book all the tours and transportation you need in San Ignacio and surrounding for you. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, specious and clean. There is also a roof top overlooking the town. In the morning complimentary fresh coffee and light breakfast are served. I would sincerely recommend this place to anyone staying in a beautiful town of San Ignacio.

The property was very clean. The room was basic but very well set up. There’s a hammock in the room, which was a nice addition. The AC works and is quiet. The room had a nice balcony. There was a fridge and a coffee pot. They have water dispensers in the hallways. The staff were helpful and kind. The location is within good walking distance to the market and all the restaurants at nightlife. It is walking distance from the ruins, but that last hill is killer so you might consider taking a taxi up if you don’t have your own car. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great deal for the price.

The hot water is intermittent and takes a while to heat up, but that wasn’t a big deal because it’s so warm and humid there.

Staff are incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. Offered to arrange tours and transfers. We were up early one morning for a tour and they got up extra early so that we could have the complimentary breakfast before we left for the day. Rooms are very clean, big and spacious. Aircon is good, bed is comfortable. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room. Nice outdoor areas. Laundry service available. Free filtered water available. Close to the centre of San Ignacio. But staff definitely the highlight of Arnold's..

A small thing but the tap and toilet seat in our room were a little loose. Bathroom door was a little squeaky too. Other than that I couldn't fault the place. Would gladly stay again.

The central location made walking to the market and local restaurants very easy. We even did the walk up to Cahal Peche. The two sisters who manage the property are friendly, professional, and provided excellent recommendations for tours and food. They also called taxis for us. Even though breakfast is not part of the stay, they do provide coffee, tea, toast, and fruit. Our room on the top floor was very large and the bed was comfortable.

The central location did result in street noise such as dogs barking on a regular basis.

The guesthouse is the best place to stay when you are in San Ignacio. It was the friendliest and greatest place we stayed in Belize. Liza the owner is so nice, helpful and up for an interesting chat. Their stuff is also great and sweet. It was super clean and our room was spacious. They also include a lovely breakfast with fresh bread from the market, delish fruits and (best for me) local coffee. What else can you ask for? Oh yes - the view from the roof is amazing and the city centre where the busses starts is just 6 minutes by foot. Definitely recommend!

The guest house is an older property but the hosts keep it very clean and thought of so many small things for comfort. For example enough towels, towel hooks, filter papers for coffee machine, a simple self service breakfast, and very comfortable beds. The family room was very large. The hosts even do laundry for a great price! It was a great location near to restaurants etc in town.

It was a bit older and worn eg in bathrooms if that is important to you

Arnold’s Guest House is an exceptional place that truly ticks all the boxes for a perfect stay. Situated in a prime central location, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle, allowing guests to relax in tranquility. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, equipped with modern air conditioning systems, and soon, additional fans for extra comfort. The owner and her all-female team are incredibly warm and hospitable, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Complimentary breakfast is simple yet delightful, and a water dispenser is conveniently available for guest use. Despite being a guesthouse rather than a five-star hotel, Arnold’s offers fantastic value for money. For all these reasons, I happily give it a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!

Short walk to the centre and the bus station. Set out a small breakfast (bread coffee and fruits) in the morning which was unexpected. Room was very clean and cleaned regularly. Water pressure wasn’t great but that’s pretty normal everywhere.

Seating on the roof could be better but don’t think it is used much. Does have a nice view up there.

Beautiful refurbished palatial mansion only a few minutes walk from SAN IGNACIO bus terminal, stores and restaurants, I enjoyed my 2 night stay @ Arnolds WiFi good 2nd floor, AC excellent with remote, Mega rooftop terraces with 360° view of surrounding town is cool for relaxing coffee, yoga, hammocks etc New bed was very comfy, Bathroom was classically tiled with loads of hot water and plenty towels including mini essential toiletries for showers Hotel is safe and quiet, Resident family managers Tao+Annie were very accommodating along with Celeny the receptionist they were all happy & helpful Cold filtered water fountain is a nice touch, Breakfast was ok, Coffee was really good! 17 March 2023

Great location; in the middle of town and within walking distance to bars/restaurants and supermarkets. Easy to flag down a taxi. Within walking distance to the iguana sanctuary and (if you really wanted to) the Cahal Pech ruins. Room and bathroom was very spacious. Shower had decent pressure. Breakfast was included in the price; included coffee, fruits and bread (to make toast) with different spreads. There is a water dispenser to refill your water bottle. Air conditioning was excellent. The lady running the hotel was very pleasant and helped to organise taxis.
