Proximity to the beach, quality of room and large free parking lot in their back yard.

Because there is seldom anywhere to park in this busy area while one checks in, management’s policy of requiring checkin prior to parking unnecessarily inconveniences guests. Clients would be better served, with no cost and no effort by staff, if staff simply communicated the parking access code (which they get immediately upon check-in) in the booking confirmations sent to clients who have made non-cancellable bookings. Actions like this would be helpful to remedy the negative comments on staff in so many reviews, and improve customer experiences and hence the property’s ratings.

We stayed 5 days in this hotel. We appreciated the room 46 as being convenient to our demands (view, space, organisation, atmosphere, light etc). The parking (we travel with a big car) is one of the best you can find in hotels with see view in south France (lot of place, private, outdoor, shadow etc). The owner was very nice to us. La Ciotat offers enough opportunities for several days. You can use this location as a base to explore Cassis or Marseille (we could not find hotels meeting our expectations). I think for these reasons it really deserves a full 10 as we got what we believed is the reality.

We were not bothered not having elevator, as we appreciate physical activity :)). Breakfast is not our issue in holidays so I cannot comment. We had coffee outside, in other recommended locations.

There is no elevator, even for the suitcases, while this is clearly stated when booking and we were ready it is inconvenient. The access to the parking is cumbersome, you need to go to reception before they open the gate, you can't use the bell at the gate to ask for access. On a street with a lot of traffic that is very annoying.

Very spacious parking, close to the beach, nice views from restaurant. Good breakfast. Very clean. Very good price-value ratio. Everything was good.

Instructions that we got immediately after booking confirmation were may look too much official/strict, so that created some stress before we checkin. But when arrived, staff was welcoming, helpfull, warm and clear, so any stress disappeared.

The hotel was very clean and airy . The owners and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the food was fresh tasty and healthy. Our room had a small balcony and wonderful sea view and the bed was very big and comfortable. Free parking was available and all the communications regarding our booking were accurate and helpful. I would love to stay again in this lovely hotel and would recommend it .

Everything was perfect.

Great spot for family holidays, we loved everything and can highly recommend it to anyone. Cute little hotel, family business, everyone who works there is super friendly and professional. Location can’t be better, the beach is literally across the street. Breakfast was delicious as well: lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, baguette, cold cuts, pastries, drinks. A big plus is free parking which is just behind the hotel.

The property is lovely - La Ciotat needs a little work! The port is beautiful, as is the area around the hotel and to the east, but in between a little unloved!

The location was perfect. The beach was right across the street. Hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Family owned hotel. Breakfast included was also good.

Loved the location, it is right by the beautiful beach of La Ciotat. The hotel is newly renovated and everything is new. The stuff is extremely nice! Definitely recommend!
