The location was close to Main Street and across the street from the walking/bike path. The police station is right there so it felt safe. The property was recently renovated, or is in the process with some of the exterior not yet done like the sign. Our room was completed and it was very updated and comfortable. The configuration of the rooms, where each entry is hall with four rooms, was really nice and the rooms at the back were extremely quiet with no parking or car noise. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was fine although not for people who don’t eat sweetened yogurt or bread. But it was nice to have a great selection of tea, bagels and cream cheese as well as hot items such as scrambled eggs. All told, we were very pleased.

This stay was fantastic! It looks a little older on the outside but the rooms are very modern. Fridge and microwave were both in working order. As someone staying with a pet I really liked the entryway to hallway setup. There was a hallway with 4 units facing inward with a screen door facing outside. I don't currently have a pet that likes to try to escape but I have had a number of Houdini pets in my time, so I appreciated the short hallways and extra door to possibly mitigate escape artists. The hot breakfast was great selection including scrambled eggs, bacon, and square potatoes with ketchup, salsa, and other seasonings. There was even more than that as well in the refrigerator. Great staff, very friendly and helpful with sense of humor 😁 I was worried about parking the Uhaul that I was driving but parking lot was easy to navigate and had an area that could accommodate larger vehicles along a fence line if I had needed it. I don't know if/when I'll be back in this area again, but you can bet I'll stay here if I do.

From the outside it looked like a 60's era motel... so our expectations were not high when we arrived. But externals looks can be deceiving... the rooms were great! Things we liked: * wood floor (carpets never get cleaned often enough or deeply enough) * microwave (small) * small fridge * large screen TV * walkable proximity to historic downtown, two breweries, one distillery * friendly helpful staff * a better than average continental breakfast; they have trays to take it back to your room
* water flowing noise from neighboring rooms was a bit more than we like * the TV remotes were hard to figure out for us old folks

The rooms have been upgraded nicely. The walk in shower was super nice! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good with hot savory options. Our daughter loved having her own bedroom. Suite was spacious. Overall a great job updating a classic route 66 era motel (I know, it's far from route 66)
Our room was so brand new there was the smell of either paint and or new mattress which was a bit strong. But it'll go away pretty quickly so I know it won't be an issue on future visits. Running the AC helped a ton. A little bit of a whistling wind noise when the AC fan wasn't on but I use earplugs since I'm a light sleeper.

Bridge Street Inn was probably built in the 60s as a motor inn. I was fortunate enough to get one of there newly renovated rooms. It had vinyl plank floor, the bathroom was really nice for a motel. It had marble-like tile from floor to shower in a gray/white neutral palette. A thoughtful feature in the hower was a bar low to the ground to place your foot to wash and/or shave your legs - brillant! Great bathroom lighting and the quietest of fans. The room: upon entering there is a tall wood slab table and next to that a wall mounted desk with a chair. The bed had a nice mattress, linens, and pillows. A comfy swivel chair to the right of the bed in a dusky rose. There was also the usual microwave, frig, and coffee maker. The best part for the dogs was the pet area in the back. We walked next to the Powder River into a fenced grassy area complete with doggie bags and receptacle. I could take the dogs off their leashes to sniff and run.
To get to the room, you have to enter a screen door. Inside is a short hallway with three numbered rooms. In my head, I was thinking of entering the room from one door. Just something minor.

A Cinderella story: our one night in a cramped room and (what WE assumed would be) a skimpy breakfast turned into a good variety continental breakfast and a superb, comfortable room. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bridge Street Motel. This Motel is in the midst of renovations, some rooms old (but clean and well-kept), some rooms fully renovated and lovely. Unfortunately, I booked us into the Bridge Street Motel on the fly. It was a mistake .... the room was so tiny there was no place to sit other than one desk chair or the bed, we could barely turn around. The lovely front desk staff kindly allowed us to upgrade. We got their Brand NEW Suite! Gorgeous! Spacious! Very much enjoyed the space and the modern renovations, new bathroom, new flooring, etc. Do yourself a favor and book one of the renovated rooms!! BREAKFAST: This older motel has a teeny tiny place to serve a continental breakfast. When we saw the space upon check-in we expected that we would skip our "included" breakfast. We were THOROUGHLY PLEASED and impressed by the range of offerings. And, surprised to get some freshly cooked bacon, too.
Several different sizes of rooms, it was not clear to me upon booking that I had chosen such a small room! (We are very thankful the place was not full and they were kind enough to allow us an upgrade even though I paid in advance to B.com.)

This is a classic motor inn with beautifully remodeled rooms, a personable staff, and fantastic location in Baker City’s Historic District. The rates are very reasonable and the complimentary hot breakfast has lots of variety for dietary needs. The rooms have thoughtful amenities and are spotlessly clean. The pillows and mattresses are firm and comfortable with that wonderful fresh linen smell. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave and small desk area if one wanted a longer stay. If you prefer locally owned accommodations, where owners take a personal interest, over big chains this is the place for you.

This hotel was awesome! From the outside, honestly you'd never guess how nice it is. The rooms and hallways are renovated. The breakfast was great. The staff (shoutout to Jessica!) were very helpful and prompt, even calling to check our arrival time since the front desk closes. The two queen room had literally two rooms with a queen in each and a bathroom in each. It was great. Ample parking, good location. Would definitely stay again!
The room keys are literal keys, which is a lot of pressure to keep track of and not lock yourself out. We didn't have problems for one night, but just something to keep in mind!

The staff was excellent, they really made sure to make our stay perfect! After talking with them a little, I found out this place is locally owned, female owned, and you can tell it’s a local business with how much care is put into everything. The rooms were clean and ours was recently renovated, the staff went above and beyond to care for our requests, and the breakfast was delicious. For the price, you just can’t beat this place! I felt very safe and comfortable which are always my top priorities when traveling.
Nothing.

Took a chance here as ratings are all over the place. What I found was that about half of the rooms have been completely renovated. It’s NOT clear online which are and which aren’t. They called to confirm my booking.com reservation, asked about pets and when I arrived had upgraded me to a new room. At this point I wasn’t ware that there were updated rooms and not updated rooms. You WANT a new room. Breakfast was pretty simple but good. Excellent location - walkable to restaurants and bars. Also on a trail but we got to talking to another couple at dinner and never took a walk. Super cute (partially) updated vintage motor lodge. Excellent value.
My husband said the pillows were too soft. (I travel with one so can’t comment personally)
