Loved the room - fresh and airy, with everything we needed. Particularly appreciated the motion sensitive lighting on entering the bathroom - very helpful when getting up in the night. Signora Sonia made us feel very welcome; it was a pleasure to meet her.

Just one small thing: we hadn't realised that we needed to hold on to the entry code when coming back to the B&B. Fortunately we were able to get back into the B&B when another guest came out. It would be good to make this clear to future guests.

Solidea Bnb is an outstanding property which has everything that a traveler may need. The building has an elevator, the bnb is extremely clean and tidy, our room was specious and the bathroom really beautiful and comfortable. The room has AC and a little fridge, which is always a nice thing in Italy in the summer. The bed was big and comfortable and I liked the bed sheets very much. The location of the property is perfect: close to the train station and to the center of the city, but it is not loud at all. The owner is extremely helpful and polite and I loved the dog you can see every day at the superintendent’s office. Overall, our stay at Solidea Bnb was an excellent experience, which I would recommend to anyone traveling to Salerno!

For a double, this room is quite spacious with a large, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The warm welcome (even remotely) from our host Sonia made us feel at home. Attention to details such as the cooled water and coffee machine added to the home-like feeling. Obviously, the room was meticulously clean. The big bonus is its central location: in the city centre at a short walking distance from the train/bus station and ferry port. Considering this location, the room is surprisingly quiet at night. For us, it was perfect as a home base to explore the Amalfi coast.

Overall, Salerno was a lovely surprise, and this B&B was among the nicest in two months travelling in Italy. As two friends travelling together, we loved having separate rooms (1 x double, 1 x single) in the same location. The rooms were tastefully appointed with all the amenities we needed. We did not use the coffee maker but the tea kettle was a lovely feature. The location is close to the train station, busses that go to the Amalfi Coast, as well as the ferry to the Amalfi Coast, of which we availed ourselves.

This BnB is a treasure with an outstanding owner and host, Sonia. Located about 4 minutes from the train station, maybe 7 from the ferry, the room is sparking clean with lots of light (although with room darkening shades when needed), and many personal touches that set this BnB apart. There’s an electric kettle and coffee maker (with a real cup), tea/sugar, small fridge with water, table and chair, beautiful sheets and bed cover - a lovely overall package. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, allowing me excellent rest for several days. Sonia is a great host, available for help and questions. As it turned out, I met her at the BnB - but yes, the only way up the elevator the first time required 20 cents! After that you have a key… but be prepared! A special point about the air conditioning as it was quite humid and hot while I was in Salerno. It works very well, cooling down the room quickly and keeping it cool. As others have mentioned, there are several excellent pastry/coffee shops on the same block, but you are also just one block below a pedestrian only shopping street with numerous restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The rooms do NOT overlook a major street, however, so it’s quieter. Don’t hesitate when considering this BnB, it’s wonderful!

The location was great l, just a couple of minutes walk from the seafront. It was in an old building and it was quiet. The room was light, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a good size and also very clean. There was a fridge and tea or coffee making facilities. There was a balcony so fresh air, but the view was the other properties.

The towels could have been softer. The hand written signs about the coffee machine etc spoilt the feel of the room. Having to be out of the room by 10am every day to facilitate the cleaning.

The best accomodation in the Costiera Amalfitana. close to the port and the main street. The rooms are made with great style, and the host Sonia thought about everything to make you feel great: coffee machine, water in the fridge, tea kettle. bathrooms are beautiful. Everthing was very clean. Even the single room has a balcony. The building has a real middle class atmosphere with pictures of old Salerno downstairs. Sonia, our host is an amazing personality. Always available and a nice person.

Everything was perfect

Wonderful B&B! Great location, comfortable and very clean room and a wonderful bathroom (I'm very picky on this one). The host, Sonia, was exceptional. She was there to greet us upon an early arrival and we were able to check in before the normal time. As well, she was there to bid us a fond farewell upon our departure.

Unfortunately the building itself is rather noisy - you can hearing the plumbing from the others rooms as well as voices. While it did not detract from our stay I would have given this B&B a "10" if it weren't for this one item. There is not much the host can do as I'm sure if something were possible Sonia would have tried to improve this condition. Luckily all the others guests were mindful and noises were kept to a minimum.

The room itself was great. Large, with a comfortable bed, good bathroom, decent WiFi, even electric blinds on the window. It looked into an internal courtyard so no view but no street noise. Self check in worked fine (although I had to chase for the instructions on WhatsApp).

The building itself is rather tired. The lift requires a key or a 20¢ coin which I didn't have on arrival so walked up 5 flights (100 steps). Internal soundproofing is not great either: I was woken by guests in another room leaving at 4am.

Location is really great! 5 mins walk from train station and 2 mins walk to main street where is the shopping area and restaurants and 5 mins walk to the beach.The building is a bit old when you enter and the elevator you need to put key to go up, its a bit old fashion but when you reach the room it's amazing feels like your in a hotel. Very comfortable bed.. We stayed at room with balcony but the view is inner courtyard. The owner is so kind and very accommodating. So far so good :)
