Just what we wanted for our first stay in Salerno ❤️ Staff - The staff were excellent, what a wonderful lady serving us breakfast, checking us in/out, nothing was to much trouble - it’s the staff that makes the place! Location - right next to transport links, cafes, main shopping street, few minutes walk from the sea/port Easy to find - we were sent a little video on WhatsApp, to show us how to find the property and were contacted the day before we arrived with all the info. Clean - clean and tidy We had a wraparound balcony, which even in February was very pleasant to sit outside on and watch the world go by! Warm and comfortable room, with extra covers for the bed if you were cold - we were not!

I read on some of the reviews, before we booked, that it was very noisy due to proximity of train station, however we didn’t really notice the trains, even with the balcony door open! Not really - just the shower cubicle needed a bit of renovating, however it did it’s job!

Clean and nice airbnb in Salerno The room is located in a residential building with life, so easy to get to. Location is very central, next to the Salerno train station; however my room is facing the train station so a bit noisy at night but the windows are sound proof ok. The room is super clean and comfy and can accommodate up to 2 people no problem. The host is really nice and they let me leave my luggage before and after checkout. The breakfast is basic with bread and coffee. Would recommend again for this price point in Salerno.

Clean and spacious. Very close to the train station and main shopping street, reasonable walking distance to the port as well. There was also a large supermarket about 2 mins away, really convenient location. There is also a self catering kitchen with plenty of amenities in the common area. Our host was very responsive on WhatsApp and check in with as easy and straightforward.

The lift going upstairs was quite small and only allows probably 2 person maximum, with limited luggage space. Though that wasn’t really an issue for us as we were travelling quite light.

The location is close to the center, to the bus station and to the train station, really good placement. You can go anywhere on the coast using the bus or the ferry. The staff was very friendly, they let us leave our luggage after the check out and before the check in, they even let us use the towels for the beach. The breakfast is good, italian style (mostly pastries, some fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice). Good quality for the price. I would defenetely reccomand!

The hotel is very close to the railway station and bus stop, it takes less then 10 minutes to get there, also flix bus stop? to go to Naples or Rome is less then 15 minutes from the hotel. The historical center is also less then 15minutes from the hotel. Wonderful view from the balcony. The room is warm and clean. Personal always ready to help.

It would be great to have a pan.

- Location & quality/price ratio. It's about 1min away from train station (if you would go throw parking, there's direct path to the platforms, which saves about 4min of walk) and about in 8-10min away from the ferry station to the most interesting locations around. Also worth to mention, it's allocated in city center, so shopping mall/groceries/caffes are available within 2-3min of walk. - Room is quite big with a magnificent view from the 7th floor

-Bathroom requires some renovation - Expected a bit more from breakfast (BUT there's a shared fridge and good full equipped kitchen, which i used to store my food) - If your room's windows looks at railway, it could be sometimes a bit noisy, especially with open windows

We really enjoyed our experience at BnbSalernoway2! The room was big enough for us, considering we were out of the room most of the day, and mainly used it to sleep. The air-conditioning was great, however it sometimes leaked or made sounds. We were so so happy that it had a lift, as we were carrying 23kg suitcases and 7kg hand luggage each. The view was incredible and the location was incredibly close to the ports, train station, bus stops and shops. Our favourite part was the breakfast with Alissandra each morning. She provided croissants, which were honestly the best we've had, and other sweet breakfast options. She quickly learned our coffee/tea orders and was genuinely interested in getting to know us. Her turn down service was also great, we would place our towels in a pile on the floor & she would replace them daily, as well as remake our beds for us & refill our toilet paper.

On our first day, we went downstairs to go out for the day and were yelled at by 2 older Italian women about leaving the door open (after already telling them it wasn't us). Although this had nothing to do with the BnB itself, and more to do with the attitude the locals had to tourists - which was very jarring coming from Australia where everyone is polite and very nice, to a city where you are stared at, given dirty looks and bumped into, however that could just be a cultural difference. The room could've been bigger however you get what you pay for and it was enough for us. The TV also could've been bigger, as it was hard to see from the other side of the room. But overall, it was a great first stay in Salerno which is an amazing city.

I liked the location a lot. Close to all transports (train to Paestum, boat to Amalfi, bus to/from the airport) we need, and within the city centre; excellent. Nice view from the terrace over the city and the port

Bed linen needed a change, and shower cleanliness could be improved. Bath decor needed a rework as humidity is impacting painting.

The staff helping with breakfast was amazing. She is helpful and recommended several locations for your trip. The location of the property is great, it is within an easy walking distance from town and the main street. We had such fun in Salerno even though we thought we only stopped over here in order to go Positano.

The lift is a bit slow but it has nothing to do with the property, as it was installed a long time ago.

Everything was perfect, very conform bed, the ceneter was not more than 2 minutes away. Breakfast was amazing and coffee was awsome. It was a very clean and nice place. There was always answer to all of my questions in any tjme of the day. If there will be another time in Salerni, I will definetly choose the same place.
