It was a nice stay. There were some issues with the bathroom door and flush initially. But the staff got it repaired immediately after we informed him. Otherwise it was a good stay. The host also let us keep our luggage after check-out till our departure from Varkala.

We stayed in the cottage here over Christmas and Boxing Day. It is a unique and beautifully decorated building with comfortable facilities. It was quiet and cool on our little veranda and only a couple of minutes walk from the main strip. Jackson the manager was very kind and helpful, nothing was too much bother, he organised for laundry which was done quickly and well. A couple of power cuts but these were fixed quite quickly. Would recommend.

Lovely place in a great location on the north cliff in Varkala, around 5 minute to the beach. Extremely close to all the restaurants/shops along the cliff but set back slightly so it is nice and quiet. Nice room with good fan, hot water and Wi-Fi. Nice little outdoor area outside the room with table and chairs which was shared with another room. Free water refills. Able to pay by card. The host was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Jackson the manager and his staff were great and very helpful . Our room was bright , comfortable and spacious with nice outdoor seating area. The position of the hotel was perfect and very near the beach , shops and restaurants . We had most of our meals locally at restaurant costa del mar which was recommended by Jackson and it was an excellent restaurant .

Location ...jickeys nest is situated just behind the varkala cliff.. u need not depend on your vehicle ..walkable distance to cliff and beach..hotels are very nearby

Entry to jickeys nest is thro a very narrow lane and if any car or auto approaches in front of your car you hav to take get back for a long distance to give a way..but once you reach the destination it has got a spacious parking space.

Nice and helpful staff, good location near all restaurants and near the sea view. Nice and quick breakfast service in the morning. Towels and soap provided, clean room.

Mosquito net had many holes, but this was not a big problem as the door and window is tight enough in this room and mosquitoes didn't enter. Still it could be fixed. The room size was a bit tiny, but this was maybe because we chose the cheapest room option.

The cottage is spacious and clean,good A/C and hot water, good wifi, small refrigerator,situated in a quiet garden with big trees and flowers, choice of breakfast is very good, the staff is super professional, helpfull and very friendly. It's a 2 minutes walk to the cliff, restaurants and beach,very secure. totally recommend

Lovely place to stay when in Varkala. I rented a small cottage with AC, and it was perfect. Close to cliff and all of the shops and restaurants, and of course the beach. The garden area is nice and cool thanks to the trees everywhere. I even saw a mongoose stroll through the garden! Breakfast was included in my package and was great. Good choice of items on the menu. Highly recommended!!

Staff is really friendly and they help you with everything. They offered as room cleaning even when we felt we don’t need it yet. Also, they helped us with our confusing stay, as we booked some other properties in advance we later wanted to cancel. They also helped us to reserve a taxi what we needed at 3 am to get to the airport. It is a Family business and everyone were really friendly and helpful. Would like to visit soon.
