This is where the hot springs begin that flow to the falls and was discovered 3,000 years ago. The hotel & staff are lovely! The spa treatments sublime, I would love to return. The resort provides noodles to float in the hot springs. The culture at the resort is to wear your provided robe, no need for cover ups or daytime attire, just bring bathing suits & clothes for dinner. The breakfast buffet was amazing including fresh pressed juices. Friday nights the hot springs are open after dark and there was live entertainment at the bar. We really enjoyed our stay!

That Apple & Google maps couldn’t get us there ..but the staff stayed on the phone & guided us directly to the door.

Staff was very unfriendly and unwelcoming, staff expected lots of tip for a little to no to bad service. We waited 15 minutes for two espressos and we're treated disrespectfully when requesting gluten-free options the server ignored us at first. food on site is very expensive sometimes we felt not really taken seriously, possibly due to our compared to other guests young age of mid 20s.

The major draw of the hotel is of course the warm thermal pool with its healing qualities. We spent the day poolside occasionally in the pool. It was not recommended to linger in the pool, rather re-enter after a spell outside. The room was a bit functional, but satisfactory. Breakfast was generous and we were half board during our stay. The location of the hotel is distant from the next village but self contained. We had an enjoyable time, a bit different from our stays at other hotels on our trip.

A cool pool nearby would have been nice.

The service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and professional. It was my birthday during our stay and they left a lovely gift in our room. They made me a special dessert with a candle also. The thermal pool was spectacular. Food was so good. Breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want.

My only issue was when we tried to hire the electric bikes on the Saturday morning we were told it wasn't possible. The reason was unclear but I suspect it's because they were prioritising golfers and sorting out clubs and carts. That was a little annoying but we just got on with other plans

Lovely unique place. The natural Source and Algae I think can hit the mind and the soul of most sceptical and rational people. You immediately understand that this is one of a kind nature creations that On top has a history of service excellence for ages. I have visited the place twice. And I see that the owners keep the standard - decorate the rooms, change the mattress, add spa protocols - despite of the various crisis like Covid etc. One of the biggest achievements is the restaurant, bell boys and the Bar. Last time we came restaurant was just a place to get to a day you arrive. Now it can compete with really great Tuscany cousins around. We came there twice during 5 days. The Bar guys are lovely. They serve cocktails day and night and also beautiful lunch. At the entrance you always get the best attitude even though you arrive - like we did - with 10 pieces of luggage on a dusty car after 7 hours drive and you get same attitude and service versus you arrive on Lamba.

Breakfast was excellent, an abundance of healthy options, all delicious. Friendly, efficient service throughout the hotel.

The food in the 1919 restaurant was terrible—as well as expensive. It might be acceptable to tourists who don’t know to expect better but for residents in Italy it was one of the most disappointing meals of our lives! Service was good but not enough to compensate for the low quality of the food.

We decided to choose this hotel as our relaxation day on our Italian road trip from Puglia to Florence. It didn’t disappoint. The facilities were great and the staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. We were also able to get an on the day couples spa massage which was divine.

In the heatwave a cold pool would have been great, however you are able to access one via the adjoining wellbeing centre if you want.

A superb break in the middle of a 2 week road trip through Italy. The staff was super friendly and helpful , really a great customer orientation. Great facility, very nice rooms, a super restaurant at the pool with high Italian cuisine, the proximity and access to the public bath which is included. The valet service recharging the battery of the EV car.

A very calm and relaxing experience. The thermal baths were great. Perhaps the best I have visited yet. The staff was very friendly,helpful and made us feel very welcome everyday of our stay. The room was quiet,comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great with so many options! The hotels restaurant was also very very good! We enjoied every lunch and dinner.

The only thing I can mention is the pillows of the bed. They surely need an upgrade.
