This place had so much personality and we loved it here. The people who run it are super friendly and helpful, and were glad to help us (even though they only speak Italian and we don’t). Cosy dog also. Our room was spacious and clean with an airy balcony with a shade and good view. Ask for a room on the third floor though, and check out the view from the top floor balcony which was truly impressive! The daughter (or friend?), who worked at the Edelweiss restaurant ended up being so so helpful and driving us to Castellammare del Golfo, which saved us from a trip with funicular, train and bus or three different buses. Thank you again Maria Theresa! I wish we knew a bit Italian so we could chat more with the interesting ladies running the place.

Nothing. The breakfast is a sugar feast with heaps of different cakes and a bit too much for us Norwegians not used to a sweet breakfast at all, but we can hardly complain about having too much cake offered, can we?

A good clean room, very friendly and excellent service by the manager. The breakfast was included and good considering the price of the room. I felt well-looked after!

It was a warm night so had to keep the balcony door open while I slept. This didn’t feel very secure. Don’t expect an up-to-date condition. I liked the authentic breakfast room but some people might find it ‘old-fashioned’. The hotel room was in good condition but there are too few electricity outlets and one didn’t work.

The breakfast was a feast of sweet delicacies from Erice. An optional savoury breakfast was offered -eggs cheese bread, salumi, ham, prosciutto plus yogurt, juices and of course, café or tea. The hosts were gentle, kind and extremely helpful. Perfect location.

Loved the location, so easy to walk to everything and they were so kind and helpful driving us with all our luggage to the hotel after we parked and then back again when we left. I have a hard time walking abd they met our needs with great kindness. Everyone was very kind and generous. I really loved the relaxed feel, the air conditioning worked great, the sun was hot but shade was lovely abd even cool in the evening. The town is so full of history and culture! This b and b took good care of us and I’d love to come back!

Excellent Breakfast, beyond expectations, with a lot of drinks and food as well sweet as salted. Very nice people wanting to help you as much as possible, in particular to find a parking place not too far from the hotel and to pick you up with a car to go to the hotel with your luggages.

Its a family-run place and they made me feel at home .....even adapting breakfast to my preferences The location is very quiet, yet less than 5 minutes to the main streets of erice The small restaurant and bar (with outdoor seating) at ground floor in a quiet small square .....very handy

could do wtih a deep cleaning and refresh. centuries and weather were not gentle to Edelweiss.

we loved the old fashioned quaintness. the view from our bedroom window was absolutely amazing especially when on our last morning we were in the clouds!

I wish there was AC in every room. However there were fans available and when I asked for a couple more fans, since it was during the July heatwave, they were immediately brought up to the rooms. And the service was always given with a smile ☺️
