So many things, politeness of staff, beautiful rooms, outdoor eating, fabulous location, excellent breakfast, so quiet, comfortable bed and my most favorite would have to be the lobby area with beautiful plants, things to purchase that are constantly changing, and the fresh flowers!!

The bar? Next door can get awfully loud and crazy. Thank goodness it was only one night, and I just closed the window and turned up the TV sound. This is no fault of the Martenson of coarse. Definitely will stay at again!

We liked the large room for our family of four with windows overlooking the square outside. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection including nice and crispy bacon, waffle station and fresh croissants. Service at the hotel and amenities in the room were great. We had coffee machine, fridge, iron etc to make our brief stay comfortable. The only small point was that the sofa bed for the kids was not very comfortable but for one night it was still OK. Very happy to return another time.

Beautiful building, central location. Room was clean. Great breakfast. Good gym facilities.

We needed a taxi at a busy hour, and asked if the staff would be helpful to call one. They said that they had already called one (but for other people, not for us). After a bit of convincing they called one for us in our name. A little more enthusiasm would have been great. Otherwise the staff was good.

Lovely hotel located in the center of Halmstad with amazing decoration. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Very rich breakfast. We had dinner in the main restaurant and was good as well.

The only thing i would mention is that upon arrival in the room, my towels were left in the place where the luggage is normally stored. Not a very nice and clean place to leave the clean towels. Apart from that, everything was great!

Impeccable Breakfast and the location was great . The best hotel in this town. Such wonderful bedroom and bed was so comfortable. Dinner in Fraz Bistro downstairs the hotel restaurant was luxury. I loved

The loud music in the bar in front that was absolutely annoying. A terrible music and this bar unfortunately which luckily they stopped this horrific band at 22 PM. But some young people besides this bar closed they keep screaming, talking loud outside the hotel and makes impossible for sleep . The hotel should do something about. Which isn’t theirs fault. This is the only negative thing.

The breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of warm and cold dishes, different juices, smoothies, Ginger shots, cereals etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in central Halmstad with parking close nearby.

Nothing to mention really, I had some trouble getting the tv started but as I was working I did not need it and did therefore not report the issue which I am sure would have been solved.

In the middle of party-town Halmstad so great choice of restaurants etc. Nice rooftop bar.

Had to ask for a better room - was offered at first a room looking into an internal lobby/workspace which was not nice. Place is a bit of a rabbit-warren with corridors extending into neighbouring buildings. Impossible to park nearby but that is no fault of the hotel.

Excellent choice for breakfast. Hotel is in ideal location for town centre with numerous other good restaurants if you want a change from Gretas bar at hotel or the Bistro. All staff Excellent, friendly, helpful, and spoke English

Would have liked coffee/tea facilities in my room

The staff were incredibly friendly and super helpful, easy parking close to the hotel. Location was excellent, many restaurants in close walking distance to the hotel. Very comfortable beds and the breakfast buffet was very good. We will definitely stay here next time!

Very nice rooms and good atmosphere. Friendly staff and the spot is perfect if you want to be Clos to the centre

The food at the restaurant was not good. Had to send back the pasta. Way to expensive for what you get. Very friendly staff and a nice place though.
