This was our 3rd time staying at the riu Antilles, and we've had a great time during each vacation. Everything is very clean and staff are friendly and accomodating. Overall each stay was great.

Upon our checkout at 12pm, we we're given a slip of paper showing we could eat and drink until our departure at 1pm. We ate lunch from the outdoor buffet and at approximately 1225pm as we took our last walk around the pool before departure, (to give extra tips to staff that were exceptional) the security walked up to us and asked if we had a paper because we no longer had our bracelets. We said yes, and told him we were about to leave, and he said to us "leave then" and made a hand motion as if he was shooing us away. My husband told him, "don't worry, we're leaving" and again he said "then leave" and made a walking motion with his fingers. Even though this was minimal, and at the end of our trip, its still enough to not want to return to this particular Riu.

The dinner in restaurants was very nice and delicious. The buffet food did taste good but the options are limited. We enjoyed the snack bar area with the desserts. Bonus they have ice cream

Check in was honestly Terrible, the way I was treated made me want to turn around and go home. I was in line, everyone was helped. I stepped up to the desk next and the lady (Mary) just walked away with a paper in hand. She never said a word and she never returned. I stood there for over 20 mins watching other guests get checked in. I was highly disappointed. For that reason I won’t be returning. I’ve traveled the world and check in is the first experience you have on vacation/business. There wasn’t tons of resort activities, the front desk kept telling me to walk to the strip.

Beautiful location, staff was incredible, food was good. Buffets were excellent t with lots of variety. Drinks are a heavy poor and most are premade so it’s quick. Heavy focus on environment (all reusable drinks and such). Beach is beautiful and great snorkeling. A little crowded and have to get to beach early to grab chairs and a tiki hut. It’s dark early (by 7:30pm est). Lots of excursions. The people/staff are so nice and fun. The wind is no joke but welcomed with the heat.

Bed was so hard and pillows not great. Limited seating at the sit down restaurants so you have to go early and grab a spot in line.

Beautiful beach; great pools and overall vibe; staff was fantastic…very attentive, personable, genuinely seemed happy. Entertainment team was great!

Building is old, although refurbished in 2010’s sometime. Restaurant menu’s were extremely limited…only 4 or 5 options, and there is no wine list, served house red, white or rose. Not a lot happening around the pool each day except for water aerobics in morning…need more fun activities. Nothing to did at night, unless you want to go to disco at 11.

I really liked the location. It was really close to everything. I also liked the cleaning staff. They put balloons and a birthday banner in my room.

I didn’t like the restaurants for dinner options. Everything was over crowded and they stopped letting ppl in at 8pm. Even though the said dinner was over at 9.

Food was good, excellent customer service.

Not enough on-site entertainment.

Extremely friendly and capable staff throughout the resort. Located near all the restaurants & shops. Buffet selection and quality was excellent. Never any lineups at the bars for drinks. Beach was beautiful. Clean and comfortable facilities.

Door keys constantly de-activated necessitating twice daily trips to reception. Limited chairs / palapas on the beach unless you were there by 7am to claim a spot. A/C system in the room was very loud and would click on and off maintain the temperature.

Breakfast was pretty good

Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating , clean room. Food was good. Fresh fruits, very good water. Fully stock drinks in the room fridge. Hotel is on the beach. Nice weather in March.

The Casino staff at the entrance desk was rude. They need you drivers license to redeem the free casino tokens. The place seems to close down after 11PM. Some of the food sat too long and was dry. Excursions were quite expensive. Pools and beach area closes after dark. A couple of the restaurants were hard to get in. Some people place their belongings on the beach chairs and leave for excursions.

This resort was everything we wanted and more! great staff, food, and drinks! the whole week we were there we only left twice because the resort was more than enough for all of our needs and wants!!!

I cant say there was something i wasnt pleased with! This resort was amazing! i guess the only down fall was we didnt see more of the island because we were so content at the resort!
