It is definitely a kids-friendly hotel with the facilities to keep the younger children entertained. We stayed with our 2 children (2&3) and they loved it. The wins for us are: 1. Indoor swimming pool 2. Car free streets to ride on the different kids’ vehicles like Bobby cars, Laufrad, Dreirad etc. 3. Outdoor playground 4. Pirate-themed bouncing castles 5. Small “zoo” with goose & sheep 6. A room with prams, wagen etc that we can borrow from the hotel to bring for a day trip out

1. As we travelled during summer, it gets quite hot in the day (30+ degrees C) and the playground is not shaded with big trees so the playground surface can get quite hot. 2. As this is a kids-friendly hotel, you can imagine most guests are families with young kids and when the kids are crying or screaming, we can hear it quite loudly in the room.

I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service in the restaurant. The staff attentively explained the German menu in English, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was good, though served a bit early. The special attention to children, with small gifts and surprises, was a lovely touch, and the kids loved the bunk bed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially for families.

However, there was a strange smell in the room, possibly due to animals outside, and the entrance door was broken and not fixed despite being checked. The accommodations were otherwise clean and comfortable, offering good value for money.

Great hotel at a very nice and beautiful location near the Germany/Austrian border. We stayed here since we travelled from The Netherlands to Garda lake in Italy. My son (and we) had a great and fun time. There's a nice playground outside and also a lot of little cars for my son to play with. The swimming pool is a nice addition aswell. The rooms are okay, the beds were very good. We also loved our balcony. I recommend this place.

The rooms are okay, bit dated. Like the decoration of the hotel. But it can be seen as traditional perhaps. Which is not bad though. Price to stay for a night was bit expensive.

the setting was gorgeous and the swimming pool, climbing frames, cycle quad bike things were all great for the kids. nice to have a restaurant on site.

our room was pretty rubbish. Top floor meant sloping roof so alot of it was not standing head height. it was bonkers hot with no Aircon and only 1fan to push the hot air around. we had a roof window but we couldn't use it because the rain would come in and make the beds wet.

We really wanted to visit the hotel. Familienhotel Löwen, since the surroundings of the mountains and everything geared towards families and children would be ideal for us. The experience has been wonderful, the hotel is very nice and cozy, very fun areas and lovingly cared for for the children. The beautiful exterior. Our little ones loved the farm. Rooms were wonderful. Other facilities like children play ground, mess-hall for breakfast were properly arranged. Breakfast was substantial

Spa facility was good but sauna was switched off at around 20:00 and nobody from the staff was available at the desk and didn’t respond to messages. The light was off at 21:00 even in swimming pool but it should work until 22:00 as per working hours.

Hands down best hotel in Germany. It is so family friendly! An indoor pool with a slide, a sauna, a giant outside playground, a trampoline, soccer nets, and a closed off safe area with riding scooters/tractors. Our room was super cozy and VERY nice! Best breakfast we have eaten in Germany and best hotel breakfast ever (out of about 40 hotel stays across the world). It sounds over the top, but I promise this place was truly wonderful. We also had dinner at the restaurant and even when they were packed full of people, the service was fast, kind and delicious. Will absolutely pick this hotel again when we can!!!!!

Very clean, comfortable, tasty and rich breakfast options. Surprise - reserved, nicely decorated table for breakfast for my birthday // didn't expect this. Swimming pool and sauna in the house. Just come and enjoy. Easy to get by car to different objects to see in all directions, that was perfect for us. Various entertainment options for smaller children (play room, outside children playground). Real hotel for family not only in words, but in all actions, a lot of families were there to enjoy this, never seen hotel like this before. All the best!

All was perfect.

Spacious yard with toys and little animals to entertain the kids. Large parking lot which you don’t need to worry about parking availability at all. Easy access to the sightseeing around.

Unfortunately we found one pillow has black dots in both sides, apparently went mouldy a bit, which is really rare to see in any hotel stay.

Incredibly family friendly, excellent facilities for kids and adults alike, great breakfast.

Staff could have been more welcoming initially. Forever, the rest of the stay the staff were excellent and accommodating.
