We loved our stay here and wish it was for longer. The house is beautifully renovated, the bedroom and en suite was large and comfortable with garden/pool view. The pool is heated and there are sunloungers to relax on as well as an alfresco sofa area with a beer and wine fridge. The hosts were friendly and gave you space to enjoy the peaceful environment. The breakfast was a very good comprehensive continental.

This was an overnight stop on our way back to the ferry following a family holiday in the south west of France and was in an ideal, quiet, location for this. The building is a beautifully converted former farm and has been renovated and decorated to a very high standard. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Lovely, helpful hosts and a good breakfast with plenty of choice. The grandchildren appreciated the heating swimming pool - and loved the cats!

The property was exceptional. The hosts were extremely accommodating. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious and well laid out. We had plenty of hot water for a shower. Breakfast was FABULOUS! We loved our stay.

Bridget and Tommy were the perfect hosts. The breakfasts were superb, a slight variation each day made them even better. The property was exceptionally well maintained, clean and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the Table D'hote evening with Bridget and Tommy. The food was wonderful and Bridget and Tommy were very good company. Angliers was a great base for visiting the local chateaux.

Our hosts made us feel very welcome into their beautifully restored home. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed with amazing attention to detail. Breakfast was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this accommodation enough. We will most definitely be returning and recommending to all our friends.

From the time we arrived, our stay at La Galuche was wonderful. Brigitte and Tommy made us feel right at home. Their beautifully renovated chambre d'hote was so comfortable. It is a little out of the way but close to many things (if that makes sense). I was there to visit the Maison de l'Acadie in La Chaussee (my grandmother is French Canadian and this area is ground zero for my family tree). But La Galuche was minutes away from many quaint towns. Tommy and Brigitte told us about the local Vide Genier in Moncontour (15 minutes away) (hard to expain - huge town flea market with so much more). Brigitte and Tommy have restored their property to perfection. Our room was large and the bed super comfortable. Brigitte definitely has an eye for design. Also her breakfasts were excellent: a little bit of many things...right down to the freshly squeezed orange juice. I hope our travels bring us this way again - it would be an excellent place to just "be".

Great place to stay before visiting le Futuroscope. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They did opened the swimming pool for my daughters. The place is very relaxing. Brigitte the owner, recommended some restaurants to go to in Loudun. The room is very nice, great bathroom. We were provided with all towels, even for the swimming pool. Great breakfast with croissants, fresh orange juice (etc...) We will definitely go back again, and will recommend the place to our friends and family. Thank you again for the stay.

Brigitte and Tommy are welcoming and generous hosts. Their home and grounds are beautiful - the swimming pool looked very inviting, sadly a bit too chilly for a dip. Our room, with en suite, was very comfortable and very clean. It was extremely quiet there, plus a comfy bed made for an amazingly restful night. Breakfast next morning was fabulous - freshly squeezed orange juice, cereals, croissants, jams, fruit, cheese, salami, ham, tomatoes, bread, yoghurt, plus of course tea and coffee. We were able to put our bikes in a safe and dry barn! We are cycling the France en Velo route and La Galuche proved to be an excellent stop-over as it is virtually on the route. We highly recommend this as a place to stay and would love to return!

Beautiful place to stay with the loveliest hosts, nothing was too much trouble especially when they opened the pool for our daughter to swim even though the weather wasn’t perfect. The rooms are so comfortable and the whole house is really nicely styled, breakfast was delicious and again nothing was too much trouble . We will definitely return and would stay for longer but in this occasion it was a stop over on our way to somewhere else. Amazing value for money and you won’t be disappointed if you go .

Our stay at La Galuche can be described in 2 words: absolutely fabulous! A big thank you to Tommy and Brigitte for being fantastic hosts and making us feel very welcome. The B&B is spotless and has everything you can wish for. Excellent facilities. Location is very peaceful and the pool is a big bonus after a day of sight-seeing (not to forget the Belgian beers in the fridge of the outdoor lounge bar area 😀)
