Have eaten here before but this was the first time of staying overnight. The room was comfortable, clean and bathroom facilities were excellent. We booked a meal in the restaurant and this was exceptional - limited menu but everything was well presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We know that they will be extending the hotel this year and adding another 14 rooms. We look forward to staying with them again in 2025. Marvellous experience and would thoroughly recommend a stay here in the heart of Richelieu. Convenient for every facility, including the park of the Duke de Richelieu which is an experience not to be missed as long as you have the legs.

Nothing - the Hotel was very central and overlooked the town square with bars, bistros, shops, church and tourist office in very easy reach.

Richelieu is a wonderful town and this hotel is ideally located. Just as well, though, that it has a lift! Comfy beds, but very squeaky boads at top of house. I never sorted out the staircases! Breakfast fine, but had to search for cups/mugs and it took time to discover what was on offer.

Very nice management, dealt with our bicycles in a kind way (stored in an interior courtyard). Comfortable dinner on the outside patio. Inexpensive, located right on the main square, new towels.

Hotel is worn in places (carpets, especially), no ac requiring windows to be open at night with some limited noise.

Location was good, nice view and close to parc. Not too many things open around, probably because of the days we stayed. We had once dinner at the restaurant below and it was good. There is a Boulangerie next door.

Really nice old hotel. Friendly staff and comfortable room, if a bit dated. The restaurant was the highlight we enjoyed a beautiful meal and a great bottle of wine.

Dated decor in our room and the stairs are steep and unlit but there s a lift so no drama

Great welcome at check in, excellent communication prior to arrival. This hotel is in a beautiful location on the main square with lots of free parking outside. We enjoyed drinks sitting outside & then both dinner & breakfast in the restaurant & all at a reasonable price.

Perfect location, requested view of the square and was provided it. Hotel has some character and staff were friendly.

Noise travels between rooms a lot. Make sure to book the dinner in advance - we didn’t and had to go elsewhere.

We had dinner in the restaurant. My chicken was very dry and overcooked. But my husbands steak was good. They are forgiven because everybody was so nice. 😊

Great helpful reception, beautiful large bedroom and bathroom, lots of character. Ordered a bottle of wine for the room prior to arrival. Bed very comfortable, great little coffee machine in the room. Staff friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food, we enjoyed the Caesar Salad and the Steak. Before we journeyed on, we enjoyed a good breakfast spread.

I liked everything about this property. Richelieu is a fascinating place. The large church in the square is worth a visit.
