The location, traditional French style and historic feel, unfussy attitude.
TheWork in Shower head needs replacing. For some reason I haven't fathoms yet, my UK adaptor wouldn't work in the sockets.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were there for three nights. The room is beautiful and clean, and had a comfortable bed. It’s a good starting point for daytrips to castles like Chinon, VIllandry and the city of Tours. But you will also find fine castles like Riveau at 15 min drive. It’s simply a Lovely and quiët place to return to after a day of sightseeing :-). The owner is very friendly and helpful.

A very beautiful and renovated old farm by a 16th century castle, in a very quiet countryside setting, with many things to visit not far away. Liked the fact that there was breakfast included.
The room was very nice, and a few small improvements on the ground floor (the kitchen corner was a little impractical, or adding a few hooks to hang coats, for example) would make it perfect.

The location was good and close to Richilieu. The manager was helpful. The garden area was enclosed so our dogs were able to have a 'run'.
The manager's spaniel whilst a lovely dog, slept outside our door all night, which kept our two dogs somewhat restless. The breakfast was not the best we have had on our travels.

We made a mistake in our reservation and booked for the day before the day we needed the room . At 9:30 PM we found the door closed. It was clearly our fault but the host was not helpful at all: - no message to signal he was surprised not to see us the previous day - no reply when we indicate that we will come late on the wrong day - the host answered the phone once to indicate us that we made a mistake but did not pick the phone a second time to help us find a solution . No call back after we left a message - worse, we noticed that the room was available on booking that second evening .. we would have been happy to take it even at full price . We had to drive 50 km to find an alternative
