Good location for the price - although not the best beach on the island, it’s still nice enough for a cool off swim, and walk along. Locals doing the wooden boat rowing is cool to watch. Loved having an ocean view even if it’s just a port. Didn’t take long to walk to main area of Hirara. All the polished concrete gives a modern hotel feel, esp the beautiful small pool area with indoor lounge. No other guests used it, so we used it every day and had it all to ourselves. Sunsets are amazing from this hotel.

Every weeknight it’s so noisy at the port - they work all through the night either construction or loading/unloading ships. Even with the door shut we had to wear earplugs. Weekend nights are quieter I hired one pair of flippers and it was $12aud a day which I thought was expensive for very average quality flippers (no mask/snorkel, just the flippers) should be free or just a deposit you get back. Very small standard room, so difficult with 2 suitcases. My partner had his in the hallway so we had to jump over it every time we walked in and out or used the bathroom. For mine I had to sacrifice the couch and table to prop my suitcase up on, so we could only sit on balcony or on the bed.

Bed was comfortable, room was well laid out with a little sitting area. We could fit two large suitcases on the desk. You can put a sign on the door so they provide fresh towels and bottles of water without making up the room. View is of the fishing port so not that beautiful but still nice to see the water and we didn't hear the vechiles in the morning. Walking distance to many good restaurants, 10min walk into the main shopping streets.

Parking was a pain, very few parks outside the hotel and the other carpark you can use is 2 blocks away (10min walk) plus also gets full at night. We came back from dinner and had to squeeze into a corner to create a park. We could hear the water from the shower in the room above us which was above the bed so a bit annoying late at night. We asked about booking a snorkeling tour as you needed to call to make a booking and our esims don't allow phone calls, the lady at reception said to email them, unfortunately we never got an email back. We have stayed at many hotels before where they will call for you, but not this hotel.

The location was great, just next to Hirara harbor. All rooms had a great view of the harbor as well as the Irabu Bridge. All staff that we spoke to were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was not bad, although it would have benefited from a better spread. Given that our visit came after a major typhoon that disrupted food and water supplies, this is very much expected. They did a good job with staggering breakfast crowds, so you could always rely on getting a table during the rush.

Some of the spaces within the hotel compound appeared grubby. While I appreciated the smart toilet features, it was difficult to use the bidet in the heat of the summer as there was no switch to turn off the heated seats as well as reduce the temperatures of the bidet water. Lastly, and I am just nitpicking here: some products at the gift store had stains on them.

The location was amazing, and the rooms and facilities were very clean. It is nice that all rooms have a window with a view on the port and the sea. The hotel lobby is a calming space with a nice vibe. Overall an amazing experience.

Unfortunately the hotel's WiFi is very poor - which made it really hard to work. Video calls are impossible with the internet speed that it provides, and watching videos or streaming is barely doable.

It was a really nice location, with seaview, we really liked the option of free parking, staff was nice as always, the hotel also had laundry machines, and breakfast was delicious

Rooms are very small. Ended up doing an upgrade to a double twin room.

The staff was very kind. also, the onsite restaurant was delicious.

i wa unaware that the rooms were lofted which caan be difficult for some travelers. the pictures did not show the correct room styles. this is considered “mini living” to western travelers.

There's not a huge number of places to eat around the hotel.

Very good breakfast. Convenient location, pretty close to the #9 bus stop from the airport. Also a short walk to the restaurants downtown.

No complaints! It was great.
