The Family room are two connected rooms. Great and convenient. There are so many activities and culinary possibilities. The buffet offered a good choice and changed the food choice from day to day. Also, the snack restaurants offered good fast food. I also liked the direct access to the beach. The animation team was great and the cleaning team did a fantastic job. Safe parking

1. The Wifi was terrible. 2. The room door locking system was vulnerable. I had to often pass by the reception desk to renew my room key card. 3. Annoying was for me the fact that they moved all the food at 5pm. I understand that they don’t offer anymore warm fast food, but why they also took away the sweets and fruits. The dinner started at 6.30pm, but if you are used to eat close to 8pm, a little snack around 6pm would have been favorable. 4. The booking of the special restaurants was only accepted at the reception of the partner hotel Palace. 5. The swimming area in the sea was quite small (i.e., restricted due to water sports too close to the beach). I guess this is rather the city‘s responsibility and not from the hotel, but still important to know.

Maybe the best all-inclusive hotel at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. There are so many kiosks in the garden where you can eat various and delicious food like paella, panini, burgers, fish and chips, etc. The sandy beach is lovely, there are many pools and the aquapark is open for a long time (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, which is longer then in other similar hotels). The variety of food is excellent in the main restaurant. It is not the hotel's failure that many guests cannot behave appropriately in an all you can eat restaurant and they take out extreme amount of food, which they cannot eat and therefore the level of wasted food is very high. However it is annoying to see that you cannot get a single piece of baklava half an hour after the opening of the restaurant because dozen pieces are taken out by some other guests, who then leave it at their table as a waste...

Food was okay for the most part, always found something we like. salads and veggies, cheeses and special restaurants (Chinese and Italian) were great. Also the snacks throughout the day were more than enough. Water park and slides were a great attraction, spent there most of the time. The room was big and spacious, nice balcony, not fancy but well maintained and cleaned every day. The kids loved the night shows, always asked to go, every time. Great coffee at the lobby bar (much needed in the morning, better if opened earlier). The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful.

Some of the food was a less impressive (most of the desserts, breads and pastries, some of the fruits, sometimes some of the meat), the Sushi at night is a big NO-NO! Coffee machines could be better if the milk powder wasn't so sweet... The water in the pool contained too much chlorine, so your eyes tend to burn easily. Could be nice if there were real lifeguards around, not just for the slides, and some enforcement of no smoking in the pool areas. Also, as expected, the need to mark seats at the pool early in the morning is quite a chore when coming to a vacation - a little disturbing and taking away from the fun of it.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Rate Sol Nessebar Mare All Inclusive! The hotel grounds are fantastic: well-maintained, spacious, and offering plenty of activities for everyone. The kids absolutely loved the variety of activities available for them! The easy access to the beach was a big plus, and the multiple pools, along with the mini waterpark featuring slides, were a huge hit with the whole family.

On the downside, the water in the pools felt quite cold, so we preferred swimming in the sea, where the water was warmer and more comfortable. The evening children's animation could use more variety. While different animated characters appeared each night, the overall program felt repetitive, with the same songs and dances every time.

Amazing place, we had a great time, the food was very good and the service was awesome. The staff was very efficient and friendly. We loved the evening shows that were put on. The room was quite big and nice. Everything was very clean. The water slides were very nice. The food was a lot and quite varied, you could find something for anyone, no matter their preferences.

The Wi-Fi almost did not work for us, at least not in the room. The water pressure for the shower was a little weak. The desserts were a little bit disappointing, except for the pancakes for breakfast, those were delicious.

This large and quite busy resort is actually 3 hotels all part of the same group sharing the same leisure facilities which is good because you have many different choices of pools and restaurants available. There is also access to the beach from the hotel grounds (but on our deal you would have to pay extra for a sun bed on the beach). It is definitely a family oriented resort with many activities available for kids of all ages. We had no issues with the room and found the food to be of a very good standard for the price point. We were happy with the all inclusive and there’s plenty of options for between meal snacks and drinks. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. Overall we had a very nice stay and would definitely consider returning next year.

WiFi was a bit weak, (could barely get a signal on the room’s balcony) we found the ice cream to be of low quality and the coffee wasn’t great - I think it was made using powdered milk. This is definitely nit picking though

The concept of the thematic Chinese restaurant is totally wrong. You have to choose all the ingredients what you have to cook for yourself and the waitresses have absolutely no idea how to do this and they cannot help. The result was a disaster: some ingredients were not cooked at all, while others were overcooked. The best thing what could have happened to it was throwing the pot away and we went to the main restaurant to have dinner.

The hotel is not that impressive. The facilities are ok. The room was always clean and for this I would give a 10. The food was acceptable, the pool for this hotel was not that nice, especially the sunbeds area. However, we were able to pay some extra money to upgrade our package and use the sunbeds and the restaurant from Sol Nessebar Palace, which are much better and fitted our needs.

The pool and the sunbeds. They look cheap, as from a 3 star hotel

The staff was friendly and spoke decent english to understand each other (the ones at the reception spoke very well). The room was clean and when we had an issue, they addressed it immediately. Beds were big and comfortable. Food was varied enough (pizza, pasta, fish, pork, chicken, beef, salads, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, breads, soups, specialties), but either a bit too spiced or not enough in my opinion. The complex is right next to the sea, with 3 access points. In the evening, after the pool activity dies down, they have various attractions for kids and the shows are quite entertaining.

The food is done in very large quantities, to handle the number of people, which has an effect on how much the cook can pay attention to the quality and seasoning. If you're unlucky and there are lots of waves, the sea shore get covered in algae, making it hard to enjoy, but the local municipality actualy tries to clean it up daily with machinery. They have daily sports competitions at the kids club that they give prizez for at the end of the day, but they take up most of the pool time for it...

There are 3 hotels in the Sol area - Mare is one of them. Our stay was really nice except food. The pool and slides were 1 min walk from the hotel. The pool was nice opened from 9 till 7. Slides (opened 9:30-12:30, 13:30-16) were great, especially rocky river and the blue once. Nice lifeguards watching guests safety. There were a lot of activities for adults and kids during the day including kids club and nice evening show started at 9:30 just after kids disco - different show every day. After closing the swimming pool your kid can take other activities in reasonable price (e.g. water cars for 4 leva). There were some places serving german food, fish and chips, ice cream and so on besides the main restaurant. The beach area was also nice with plenty of loungers and play ground. Our room was clean. Waiters did they job really great.

The food in the main restaurant was a little bit tasteless. There were small range of food for kids. The changing room after check out was dirty and awfull.
