This is an older place and it shows. Things are worn, but clean. The balcony looking over the river was an unexpected pleasure and we spent a fair amount of time out there in the evening.

The trouble is that the balconies are open from one room to another. The room 2 over had 3 small dogs that came to visit a few times. Not a big deal. What was a big deal is that during the night the dog (s?, two piles) came over into the middle balcony and got sick on the carpet. Not a pleasant thing to see when you are looking forward to having a morning coffee outside. A/C would be a welcome amenity. It was quite warm when we were there and the room got fairly hot, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The balcony/deck could have used a good cleaning.

This hotel is really lovely and original. It is old-fashioned and my Mom (91 year old) remembers it from when she was a teenager. We had a room with a shady patio that faced out over William's Lake. It was dog friendly and really easy to take the dog out for a walk from our room on the ground floor. There are BBQs set up on the lawn in front of the rooms we stayed in. The hotel has been there a long time and is the kind of place you might not be able to find very often any more. It has a quirky but fabulous mini-golf area. I think that it's a great place for a family to come and have a fun retro experience. The staff is friendly and cheerful.

I liked it but I guess potential guests might want to knwo that it's a bit out of town, and is skirted by the highway, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have restless teens who want to walk around the town. Once you're in the property, it has a bit of an old-school resort vibe. If you wanted to walk around downtown or wanted something modern & flashy, it might not be for you. You can definitely hear what your neighbours are up to as well.

The property is located with views onto the lake from rooms with a balcony. Although located next to the highway, the rooms are very quiet. If you are travelling North on the highway, as you enter Williams lake you will see a very large information centre on the right. Slow down, as the property is on the left and although elevated, the sign is above tall vegetation.

Not a case of not liking, but adding a non slip mat to the bath would have made our stay perfect.

The motel was conveniently located and an affordable option.

We stayed just one night, on a four day road trip from Alaska. The room had a slight odor when we arrived but seemed to dissipate after an hour or so, it could have been from the products used. This is an older property that could use some updating.

Great location. Stayed 10 years ago. The facilities looked great! Inside the rooms were a little run down, but worked okay! They had a mini golf course which was free for guests but was very unkempt. The clerk had us booked in a room I didn't request but oblidged and fixed us up.

The balcony was really dirty with twigs and leaves and the only way to lock patio door only locked with a bar and door was difficult to open.

Room was clean and quiet. Good size fridge.

Window in door let's too much light in at night. Window was left open and it was very cold. There was 2 large vehicles parked in front of my room. I have limited mobility and requested close parking to my room. This made it alittle more difficult to unload my vehicle.

Very relaxing and quiet. I have been there many times. The reason I always chose to stay is the affordability and beautiful views. I have been so 😔 when this little charm is at full capacity. Thank you so much for another great experience. I will see u again next month.

Everything was fine.

Great place for short or longer stays. It's very clean and you have everything that you may need. The internet worked great as well, and the room was quiet and very spacious. We were fortunate to get the room with the lake view, and it was most beautiful balcony view! There is a really lovely mini golf course within the complex to keep you entertained, too.

The whole motel itself is a bit outdated. It certainly is not the deal breaker, as everything works great and it's really well kept, but it's worth mentioning.

Pleasant location, beautiful view of the river, comfortable room, generally quiet, and pleasant staff (especially the First Nation front desk, sorry I do not know his name)

smokers outside close to rooms, neighbours talking loudly outside their room early in morning 7 AM, aggressive when asked to lower the tone, insulting

The view is exceptional and we loved having the balcony to entertain, relax and watch the sunset. The staff, as always, were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bed was a little too soft for us and the comforters were showing a lot of wear. Clean and pet friendly.
