François Baly, the Hotel Director, and his wonderful team were welcoming, efficient and professional. They took excellent care of us and thoughtfully presented my husband with a delicious bottle of cremant for his birthday. The hotel is in an excellent location, the room was very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. We were given a room with a beautiful view of the town square and the church. A special thank you to Emilie and Clara for taking care of our dinner reservations during the long holiday weekend. We will definitely stay at La Diligence again and thank everyone for making our stay so comfortable.

This is our second stay at the hotel and we always come here for Easter weekends with our group of friends. We really love the location it is perfect for us. The hotel is modern and very stylish which we appreciate. We usually book a higher category room that is not too small. Having a coffee machine in the room is a big plus for me. This place is a great base for our trips. I like everything the friendly staff the cozy modern boutique feel and the convenient location. It is comfortable enjoyable and leaves us with great memories. We will definitely keep coming back. The only downside is the sound insulation. You can hear the cleaning staff in the morning and other people which is a bit of a negative.

Excellent location on the market square. Historic and interesting town with lots of independent shops and cafes/restaurants all within easy walking distance. We were glad we booked the private parking option (garaging nearby) as parking is limited in Obernai. All staff were very friendly and helpful, including Romy, the manager's dog.... Hotel has been refurbished through out, but still has lots of character and charm. Our room was quiet, well equipped and comfortable. V good selection at buffet breakfast.

No public space to sit in, except for the breakfast area, which becomes a cafe during the daytime. Not really a problem though, as we were out exploring all day and then ate out as there is no evening restaurant in the hotel.

Such a wonderful hotel. We were totally in love with the location, city view and comfort provided. The beds are super comfy and big. Great shower and nuxe toiletries. The communication with hotel was quick and pleasant. There is sockets in the right places, a little window dining area in the room, and desk as well. Would definitely recommend and will stay again without hesitation. The location is superb.

More sugar in the room would be nice, plus water could be provided for free in the minibar. But these are minor things. This didn’t spoil the stay.

Everything was perfect

Very friendly greeting and stored our bags until advertised check-in time. "Cosy" room was indeed cosy but adequate for a short stay. Musty smell on entering room tracked down to wet carpet where shower had leaked and run under bathroom door. Aircon efficient and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful, could have done with more variety in the prepared fruit. Would be a bit repetitive for a long stay. Location excellent with rooms looking out onto picturesque market square.

Gluten free bread at breakfast should be kept separate from regular bread to avoid contamination. Only two capsules provided for Nespresso coffee machine in room and no clue as to what the different colours mean. No milk provided.

Bright light airy corner room. Able to cool the room with the windows open, but also good air conditioning if needed. Elevator to room. Good safe bicycle storage in locked garage around the corner. Coffee-maker, safe, mini bar fridge in room. Little seating area with dinette overlooking the main square. Very good shower with good hot water, and large bath towels. Friendly helpful reception staff.

No kettle in room. The bottom sheet was too small for the bed and wouldn’t stay in position.

Lovely comfortable room that also has a sofa, the balcony had amazing views over the town square which was great for people watching, also good views over the cathedral & up the hill behind town. The room was super clean & everything in the room of a high quality, we certainly felt very comfortable & we could easily have stayed longer. The breakfast selection was good & was of a really good quality. The staff were always nice & friendly & easy to talk to. Really excellent location & easy walk to the train. Obernai is a really lovely town & makes a great base for exploring the surrounding region. A must do is the beautiful walk through the forest along a stream from town on a good path to the nearby village of Ottrott. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. .

We received a warm welcome on arrival and our room overlooking the picturesque square was bright and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful and very nice quality ingredients. Location was great for many tourist spots and we took the train from Obernai to Strasbourg. Free parking spots 5 minutes away at Les Remparts.

Despite being located on a small cobbled square there was a surprising amount of traffic pass by, some of which was quite early in the morning and slightly noisy. Not a huge problem though.

- we had 2 different room types: 2 large rooms and myself, I had the cosy room the large rooms are very beautiful with great views - the breakfast is tasty! they have a great selection of local produce and very good bakery products - free water and juice in the lobby and bretzels - easy parking behind the hotel - the staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and thoughtful!!! - Romy, the cute hotel dog

- the cosy room, which had carpet, was below a room with a wooden floor and the person above me was busy pushing furniture around the whole night. Unfortunately I nearly had no sleep at all. Thats not the fault of the hotel - the breakfast is till 10 am, which is pretty early for a breakfast when you are on vacation ( they start at 6.30 am though)
