We only stayed one night at Margarethenhof am Tegernsee, but it was a great experience. The room was spacious and had a lovely view overlooking the golf course. My husband played 18 holes and said it was one of the best-designed courses he’s experienced — and the best part? It’s dog-friendly, so we were able to take our dog along on the course for the first time! We were also lucky enough to get a double rainbow right from our balcony. We had both lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant — great food, and the breakfast was also very good. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We’d definitely love to come back for a longer visit next time.

The breakfast buffet was very good and nice that we could have eggs. The staff were so accommodating. I loved the 2 stage bedroom -plenty of space, spotlessly clean and a comfy bed and nice to have 2 loos! Great to have free coffee and a tiny kitchen facility.

Sound carried along the corridors and through the wall. There was a party of golfers next to our room the first night which went on till the early hours. Because of the automated checkin and checkout there is nobody to ask questions out of the normal working day and there was no meal option for the evening so one needed to know where to go to get a meal/supermarket. Google maps to the rescue!

The location is very beautiful, the property is surrounded by golf fields, and in the distance, you can see hills and mountains. The rooms are large and they are really well equipped. Our room had a large balcony we enjoyed a lot. Overall it is a nice area, there is a pool that was never too crowded and several spaces where one can sit, relax, and enjoy nature.

The breakfast comes at an extra charge of 15 Euros and the breakfast offer could be a bit more generous for that price as some items (such as pastries) don't get replaced once they run out. You also get limited coffee pods in the room and you have to pay for extras, regardless of the length of your stay. These are small details, but given that it is a 4-star hotel, they could be less conservative with perks and amenities.

Grounds well groomed, spacious rooms with balconies facing beautiful landscape. It was convenient on line check in until midnight, as we arrived late from the airport, smart setting. Loved the calm and rustic environment and the friendly staff. Awesome breakfast with delicious and large variy choices and pleasant restaurant setting.

Excellent customer service and brilliant facilities. The room was clean and well looked after. The hotel itself is beautiful too. Shame. The playground had a wasp problem, so my children didn't want to play in it (Germany has been wasp heavy this year unfortunately). The food in the restaurant is excellent - dinner and breakfast.

Everything was perfect! Enjoyed every single minute staying here. The room is huge, has 2 stores, kitchen with all necessary stuff. Location is amazing, you can see mountains, ideal golf fields. The territory is very private. You rarely see neither your neighbors nor the stuff of the hotel. Already miss this place and recommend it to everyone

The location is one of the best we ever visited. Nicely positioned in stunning surroundings, overlooking a golf course, it's peaceful and relaxing. Although wary of the digital check in it proved easy and straight forward. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and there is lots to choose from. Overall a brilliant experience

The hotel is located in a little bit suburb of tagernsee. we have to drive about 20 minutes from Lake tagernsee. the hotel has self check in and many people come there to play golf. the space in the room it's very big and when you need to go to bed you have to climb the stairs. stoves and kitchen equipment are available

Almost everything was perfect. We reached late night and had some issues finding the room since the key collection is digital and the reception is closed. A introduction sheet with a map will be very helpful.

Location, close to a friend‘s wedding venue

Online check-in, I made a reservation for different rooms and it was not clear which reservation number belonged to which room. Sauna only open in the afternoon and not in the morning for a rainy day
