Location was on a main road but rooms set back and traffic noise was minimal. Property was very well presented inside and out. The managers are extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was easy and comfortable. The small garden with pergola is a lovely space to relax at the end of a day. Inside the room, the size and presentation was excellent, with the biggest bathroom we have ever experienced. We loved every aspect of this motel.

Very well looked after motel with friendly and helpful owners. Rooms are comfortable and good size. All necessary amenities. Most comfortable bed and high standard of cleanliness. Good off street parking and attractive outdoor garden area with seating, plus BBQ for guest use. Easy walk to main street shops. Only minor traffic noise, our sleep was uninterrupted and area quiet overnight. No noise from adjacent rooms. Great value stay and will return if in area again.

Greeted with a friendly smile & chat. The motel is very close to town, the room was very comfortable, clean & big. The bed was super comfortable. All facilities in good order, good size shower & parking right next to room. Will definitely stay here again & reccomend this place to friends.

Have come to Young a couple of times and unfortunately, this wonderful motel has had no vacancies. A testament to how lovely the stay is there. We were very lucky to get a room this time.

Our host(ess) could not have been more helpful and responsive. I thought we had a few problems but I was wrong. The manner in which I was told I got it wrong (or it was only a quick fix) was done in a friendly and supportive way. That sort of genuine interest in guests makes for a more enjoyable trip.

Would have been better if wasn't raining and most the Young clubs/restaurants closed at 8pm. That's not the fault of the Colonial Motel & Apartments of course but put a damper on our short stay.

Room seemed to have been recently re furbished. I liked the small details like detergent, a washer and tea towel so you could wash up, also the microwave came in handy. The bathroom has also been recently re furbished which was lovely.

Can be a little noisy given the motels location near the highway. Beds were a little uncomfortable.

Large comfortable, well appointed room and very clean with attention to detail. The Manager was very welcoming and helpful. The coffee pod machine in the room was a most appreciated addition! Breakfast is also available if required.... The motel is location a short walk from the city centre and although on the highway we were not trouble by the noise. Would definitely return here.

“The minute you walked into the joint you could see you were in a place of cleanliness “ apology to “ Big Spender” older motel with tastefully appointed rooms, spotless. Loved having two mirror’s especially a full length, able to use for make up while husband shaved. Excellent use of space, good lighting, and comfortable bed. Lovely garden, generous amount of tea coffee. Value for money. Friendly owner.

Nothing except would like to stay longer. Will come back some time for longer, probably in the appartments.

A warm & friendly greeting from Lynda & Andrew. Room had everything I needed. Big TV & fridge.. Spacious parking. Very pleasant outdoor BBQ/smoking area. Nice big comfortable room. Aldi, service station (with great food) and Subway 60m away. Lockable screen door was a nice touch. And main street of town 700m. Absolutely beautiful breakfast.

The accommodation was welcoming, easy to find and very clean. Bed was comfortable bathroom was massive. We only stayed one night but would definitely book for longer at same place if we needed to. Service was amazing.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. Rooms were warm, soundproof from traffic and an over great experience.

Friendly and accommodating hosts, great rooms and comfort. Just so happened that I snagged the one room that meant I could park ute & trailer right outside my door.

Netflix Chromecast didn't work after following instructions. Just get it connected to remote. So much easier when travelling.
