The Grand Hotel Sonrisa is the most luxurious, flamboyant and entertaining hotels that we have ever stayed in. We kept thinking that we were in Las Vegas or Disneyland. Our suite was large and comfortable, and the outlook was spectacular. The breakfast was outstanding, and the service was friendly and efficient. The parking is secure and provides easy access for luggage. The Grand Hotel Sonrisa is a magical wonderland, and we would recommend this to anyone.

No kettle or coffee-making in our room. Otherwise, perfect!

The hotel facilities in itself is something extra. The garden, fountains, pool area and the common areas in the hotel building were something different from an ordinary hotel, in a very positive way. our first two nights seem had collided with wedding, big birthday party or other kind of celebrations. We enjoyed a beautifully lit up outside area, happy music, dressed up guests that lived up the environment . The breakfast is really fantastic, both in terms av variety and quality. Highly recommended to take your time for a long breakfast. Only wish that we could take our breakfast outside in their beautiful garden than sitting inside. All in all, we had a happy and pleasant time.

Our room was clean and nice, but it felt being a little outdated. Having said that, everything in the room was comfortable.

Rich decorated building. Very nice territory. We slept well, enjoyed our breakfast and spent some very peaceful hours here. There was some event in the evening in the banquet hall, but it doesn't interfere. Seems that it's a place for events so may be it's not so comfortable in other days We loved rose bushes (red and white) and saw two cats black and white. I think there can be a kind of story :)

There was a DJ outdoors. It was rather loud (for walking in the garden), but lasted very little because of the rain. Well, for me loud music open air is definitely a flaw for a hotel.

Loved the over the top decoration the murrano lights. It was truely special. The cocktails at the bar were great and where else would it fit in more. The beds super comfy. Dinner in restaurant was fantastic and the waitress went out of her way to find a alternative dessert. Coffee at breakfast was excellent.

I understand events must go on but i am sure a quick swim in pool would not of effected the event if taken before. So never got to try pool.

The accommodation is far from a 5* accommodation, it could have been a couple of decades ago. BUT the staff is super nice, the accommodation is very clean, the style, the architecture is uniquely special, the view was amazing from our balcony! We enjoyed our stay very much!

The breakfast is very basic, not varied. Sometimes only hot water flowed from the taps, sometimes only cold water, this is a very unique experience :-) The internet isn't perfect, but it's not annoyingly bad either.

The decor of this hotel is amazing we had the best suit that several stars have stayed in like Diego maradona etc the staff called our suit the maradona suit the hotel surroundings are exceptional fountains/ waterfalls/ statues/ palm trees etc they have a lot of functions weddings birthdays anniversaries graduation etc the whole time you are here it just makes you feel good also Emma on reception is excellent

There is nothing we felt we could dislike it’s just great

Room was pretty big and comfortable with a balcony and very quite even next to the elevator. pity there is no hair conditioner among the toiletries. pillow was not comfortable but matrass was good. for hotel marked with 5 stars breakfast was pretty poor. could be really better, at least to suggest omelette or scramble by request. also would be nice to have fresh juice and nice bread for breakfast.

This hotel is absolutely stunning 😍 the best place I have ever stayed really really nice I really felt at home even though a 5 star we are very casual people but didn’t feel awkward in anyway. Breakfast especially croissants and all the Italian homemade cakes are to die for! Also the pool is wonderful!

More entertainment like a DJ at the weekend or something like that.

This place is exceptional as much as it look in the picture. It does feel like in a castle ☺️ Room was very spacious, big bathroom, clean and had private balcony. Very good private parking. Staff was ok, but could do with a bit more positive attitude ☺️

Few things we did not like: * Pool vas very nice but there are limited hours in the first half of the day you can use it. * Almost every day there is some celebration- wedding or etc. It did not bother us, but for some it could be to noisy. * Breakfast- super 😔 As for a 5 ⭐️ hotel - very bad. Hardly few eggs, bacon and omelet - 😔 no veggies or fresh fruit ( few pieces of melon- do not count as variety for us). However - 🥐 very very 👌.
