We had a very good stay at this charming B&B. The hostess was incredibly welcoming, and the whole place had a cosy, friendly atmosphere. The room and common areas were spotless, and the breakfast menu was excellent – plenty of delicious options to start the day right. The views from the property were absolutely beautiful, and the common room was a perfect spot to relax.

The only downside was that the heating was turned off during our visit, which made the rooms feel a bit humid. With that small issue aside, it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay. We'd happily return!

The breakfast was lovely and the view was nice from the breakfast room, although very sunny! Our bedroom was clean and comfortable and private. Parking available on site.

It was a little further outside Dingle than we anticipated. Our room was just a house bedroom and ensuite with no additional space to sit and relax. We thought it was a BNB that would have had a community area to sit outside the bedroom for space considering the sleeping area was quite small for two people but it appeared we had booked just a small bedroom. There was the breakfast room but it wasn’t somewhere we were told we could use other than at breakfast time. Set up with tables and chairs was not really a sitting room anyway.

Location - stunning views over countryside 2k away from bustle of the town in a holiday weekend. Excellent breakfasts (included); safe parking; well-managed access; good shower; comfortable, clean environment

Would have valued a chair, even a small one in the room; guests/I don’t always want to be social in a public lounge after a busy day. With the absence of hanging space in the wardrobe, hanging items over a chair back would have been handy. Walk into town included some significant chunks on the road - no footpath.

We had a lovely stay at Short Strand in Dingle. Our room was nicely decorated and well appointed. The owner was very easy to communicate with when arranging arrival time to get keys. We had a delicious breakfast each morning that was made-to-order, a great way to start each day! The owner & staff were very friendly and provided great recommendations for things to do around Dingle and restaurants. We had two of our best meals on our whole trip during our stay in Dingle. I would Highly recommend!

The location is just outside of downtown Dingle, not really walkable as it is on a busy road. But an easy car ride, and we had no issues with parking in Dingle.

The breakfast was exceptional. The host was wonderfully helpful, full of tips on where to eat and what to see. She bent over backward to make our stay memorable, comfortable and easy. There is a lounge room with great views and comfortable seats and couches where we could relax and read with views out the window of the lovely grounds and the beautiful scenery of the Dingle Peninsula.

Nothing. We loved this place! If i had to reach for something, the location a mile and a half outside of Dingle in the beautiful countryside meant we needed a ride or a taxi if we were going to drink alcoholic beverages in Dingle, as the road has no sidewalks and would be dangerous in the dark. Taxis were easily available for us. It wasn't an issue.

Breakfast was excellent….good range of choices. Well presented. Attentive staff. Would adapt cooked meals to suit preferences. View was amazing very scenic. Room very comfortable with lots of extras . A lounge room with a view is provided for guests to relax / read /games. Plenty of parking.

Everything was exceptional Our only disappointment was we couldn’t walk into Dingle. It is only three minutes away by car but the the standard of accommodation more than compensated for that.

The B&B was located away from the bustle of Dingle with a wonderful rural country view which was very pleasant. We were lucky to have that view from our room. The breakfast was great, with a selection of warm foods from the menu and "cold" foods like cereal, fruit, and yogurt set out for self service. The room was comfortable and as my husband said, "definitely decorated by a woman." Hahaha. It was beautiful, romantic, and homey. The bed was a bit too bouncy for my liking, but it was certainly just fine and comfortable. The blackout curtains helped us to sleep in past the early sunrise. Parking was on-site and easy. The staff were very friendly, but also gave us our space. Definitely a pleasant stay.

At one point we could clearly hear the telephone conversation the woman in the room across the hall was having. So the walls/doors aren't as soundproof as you might find in a hotel. But as long as the guests are polite and respectful, noise should not be an issue. Definitely a quiet, peaceful place.

The Short Strand B&B in Dingle was an absolutely lovely spot with breathtaking views, very comfy beds, and an exceptional host Kathleen! She actually offered us a ride into town and would not take anything for it. So sweet of her. She gave us great reccommendations and dropped us off in front of "Bob Griffins Bar" in the heart of this lovely seaside village, which had a great bartender Owen and some fun traditional music. To top off our stay, Kathleen's breakfast was superb!!! The best we had in our 2 weeks around Ireland! Well done Kathleen : )

Kathleen is the owner of the house, and she is an incredibly sweet and helpful lady. When we arrived, she kindly came to pick us up, and throughout our stay, she was always available to drop us into the city whenever needed. Her property is lovely, with a beautiful view from the house that made our stay even more special. We truly enjoyed our time there and would love to visit again!

Great B&B!! Kathleen does a great job and she made us feel very welcomed when we arrived! Our room was very nice, clean, bed very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful too! Very quiet which was nice and a short drive to Dingle Town! Also, she has a nice bench where you can sit out front and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL VIEW…surrounded by her lovely garden! Highly recommend this B&B… top notch!!
