The sight was great! After you climebed up to the house, you achive a great view of the city Mürzzuschlag. Even more, you see the whole valley around the city. The breakfast was swedish table, with great quality and good sortiment. The staff is really friendly.

The end of the road to the villa was a heavy climb with the kids and our backpack. But survivable.

If you like a historical milieu, this small, carefully renovated hotel from 1885 is just right for you! The atmosphere is so authentic that you can easily imagine meeting a hotel guest dressed in Victorian costume in the corridor. Also the world famous composer Johannes Brahms was on vacation in Mürzzuschlag and passed by this hotel every day! Great view of the valley. Breakfast delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was huge. If you need more beds in one room, call the hotel staff directly. Enough place for parking. If you come by the train, you need a taxi from the train station if you have a lot of luggage (contact the hotel staff before, they may help you).

Wonderful Mountain Accommodation We thoroughly enjoyed our night in the Austrian mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a breathtaking view from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The decor and character of the villa.

We had to walk from the station which was quite a trek up the hill. I guess we could have hit a taxi though. But the view and peaceful setting was worth it. We were glad that we had been warned in advance that shops and restaurants (including at the villa) are closed on Sundays.

A truly unique place with an incredible atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly kind and the view is stunning. The kids had a fantastic time, and the room decor was a real eye-opener for them. I highly recommend it!

Peaceful setting close to many varied and interesting hiking and cycling routes. If there is poor weather the local town has 3 museums to visit including the Sudbahn Railway museum. The small quirky railway museum in nearby Semmering is also worth a visit . The Ghega museum featured in Michael Portillo’s Vienna to Trieste railway episode on BBC TV. We also took the Rax cable car and hiked the dramatic limestone ridge routes. The owners of the B&B are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with an option of cooked eggs. Room No2 had a special shower cabin which included a steam facility which was very relaxing after a day in the mountains.

Great owners, wonderful villa with great views.

Very nice hosts, excellent breakfast and dinner, clean apartment, location is also very lovely - picturesque view and not far from several ski resorts. The parking place is right next to the villa.

Although it's quiet at night, you hear people who wake up immediately, because old wooden doors don't protect much from noise and you can hear the main door to the street every time somebody closes it.

Very beutifull villa with high ceiling, top view from window on the hole valley, great rich breakfast, beautiful dinnig place, highly recommed.
