The experience overall in the hotel was great: the food in the restaurant was very tasty (highly recommend the Sandwhich Club!), the breakfast was also very nice, and the room was comfortable. They have a free bike-renting service, which was great for a stroll around the lakes! Very nice :)

I found it a bit too expensive for the type of hotel. It is a 4 stars hotel, but it felt more like a 3 stars, or a bit less (maybe due to how old some of the facilities were, like the bathroom).

Plenty of vegan options available for breakfast. The chef was happy to make us vegan pancakes each morning (chickpea based) which were delicious. Plenty of fruit, vegetables, cakes, yoghurt... the selection was amazing! The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable too. Great showers. Staff were all friendly, helpful and polite. Everything you need in a hotel. We didn't encounter any issues at all! Several nice bars just minutes away too for good quality beers.

Car parking needs to be made clear by verso - it will be of great benefit to business customers and to the hotel. Verso hotel needs to pin it's car park location on Google map or advice the exact coordinates. Google map currently takes you in front of a public car park which is close to verso hotel and quite expensive for parking beyond 3hrs or night parking (you will be charged 3 euro per hour) Verso car park is only 16 Euros (full day parking) and located directly below verso however, you need to enter via a different route / entry point. Verso parking is very convenient but not well publicised by booking.com or Verso Hotel.

There was one barmaid who wasn’t very nice or professional. This is a shame because everyone else on the staff were lovely.

Hotel Verso is in the centre of Jyvaskyla, within easy walking distance of everything. I always take the train from Helsinki and walk to the hotel from the train station. Just in front of the hotel is a department store (Sokos) with a big supermarket in the basement. Some rooms have a shower; some rooms have a bathtub. I love the breakfast buffet, which has pretty much everything. This time I had an excellent omelette cooked by a very cheerful young cook, which made my day. You can rent a yoga mat for free, which is also great, but the standard room is a bit too small for yoga; the better room has more space.

The room is a bit dark. I personally prefer to have better lighting at the desk when I work with a laptop. The restaurant was closed on Saturday/Sunday when I was there in mid-May, I don't know if it was for one weekend or if it was the normal schedule. I love the Bistro Kirkkopuisto, which is part of the same group, but it is a 5 min walk from the hotel.

Verso is one of the best hotels we have stayed in recently. A wonderful room with everything you need for a comfortable stay - a comfortable bed, a kettle, an iron. The breakfasts at the hotel are excellent. Delicious and varied. The hotel is located in the very center of the city and a 7-minute walk from the train station.

This is a centrally located hotel with the location that simply cannot be beaten. There are so many details around it and regardless of that fact, it retains its interior calm atmosphere. The cleanliness is really on a high level and above everything, thank you for your early, abundant breakfast that allowed me to catch the bus for Petäjävesi on time. The room itself was very good and perfect for a good night rest. If returning to Jyväskylä, Hotel Verso will be my home away from home again without any doubt.

If you want to travel to Finnland a step in a great hotel. You habe to choose the hotel verso. You get a great hotel, Wirth very nice and comfortable rooms and a mind-blowing restaurant. We had a great dinner with a very tasty menu and a very clean room with a high standard. The personal was extra nice. When i even travel to Finnland again, I habe to go to this hotel again.

Fantastic hotel at the city center. I traveled for work and stayed for 2 nights. I requested a room from upper floors of the hotel, and I got the room from the 6th floor (the top floor). The room was very clean, very quiet and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great with a large selection of hot and cold options. I could not ask more from a hotel.

The location is perfect by the promenade of the city. The staff is always friendly, parking is affordable and accessible with a lift near the reception and they have really nice sauna facilities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious.

The beds are comfortable but the pillows not so much unfortunately. In my opinion the breakfast has a lot to offer but they could add some options to the warm buffet especially during the weekends.
