It feels more like a place one would go for a retreat than a hotel. The room was very clean and zen like. The bed was very comfortable. Essentially this is a hotel in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and woods. The emphasis is on hiking and being quiet. Breakfast was nice.

It was a bit hard to find the hotel. We were surprised there were no signs but we asked random people on the way there and they helped us find the place. The layout is a bit odd but okay. We were surprised also that there was no one working in the dining hall, to clean the tables, etc. The folks who work at the front desk were pleasant but not proactive as far as explaining things, e.g. no one told us there were fridges in the shared kitchen where we could place our food. No one told us there was a ping pong table in the dining hall. No one explained where the nearby SPA was located or that it is not affiliated with the hotel. The vibe at the reception was very subdued, bordering on odd.

It’s a unique place; we were here for the spa next door. Location can’t be beat. It was very spread out with lots of random common areas and a communal kitchen; our checkin was lovely but we found ourselves discovering these spaces. The room was nice and faced the grounds; I wouldn’t have wanted a room that faced the parking.

The sheets were old and pilly- all clean, just older. I didn’t like the breakfast; it wasn’t refilled quickly enough for the people coming through and the breakfast area felt tight. Too many people and not enough seats.

We went to enjoy biking so the proximity to Bromont Mountain, while escaping into the country, was lovely. We were also able to take advantage of the trails around the hotel, and, if time had allowed would have loved to experience the Balnea Spa up the road.

The only downside to the hotel was the tight corners to the bathroom sink within our bedroom, however, the overall size of the room and the rest of its amenities were perfect for us.

The property is located in the hills near Bromont, just past a vast centre for horse- riding and jumping and a spa. The pool is inviting with lounge chairs and beach towels provided. The breakfasts are simple but very good and nutritious. Tables are available inside and outside on a covered terrace.

Common area and access to shared fridge with individual containers, free ice, delicious breakfast, and very scenic setting. Accommodating us with an earlier arrival: access to the pool.

No composting on site. A slightly larger pool but happy there was one even if a bit small :).

The proximity to the Balnea Spa was perfect for us. We were able to walk to the spa for treatments during the day and it was just a short drive for dinner. The breakfast was very good. And thanks for having it snow while we were there! It was gorgeous. Next time we want to explore the trails.

The location is stunning, the common areas are very practical for cooking meals and relaxing in the evening. The breakfast is great quality l, healthy and delicious.

Breakfast could be varied, it is the same everyday. It would be nice for a barista to be working in the morning to serve the specialty coffee’s that are available.

I liked the common space with the ping pong table. I also liked the large shared kitchen, it was great for preparing a picnic lunch. The breakfast was great, the bagels were delicious and the yogurt granola bar was nice. The staff were friendly.

I really enjoyed the kitchen/living room addition in the room. Everything worked well and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and was in an extremely convenient location close to the Bromont Equestrian Park.

I would of liked to of had a bigger bathroom, or more counter space in the bathroom. Room was lovely, but would of liked a more comfortable bed.

Gorgeous view of the mountains, pool was great! Room was very clean, well maintained and nice decor- modern looking. The kitchenette was really wonderful to have as well. Breakfast included was a nice bonus. Will return without question; we loved it!

Breakfast was limited to bagels, yogurt & fruit... additional items like croissants, muffins, cereal for some variety would have been even better.
