Let this be your sign to stay in Salerno if you want to explore the Amalfi coast. And your sign to stay with Marco if staying in Salerno!! Marco was a fantastic host!! So so kind and took a lot of time to talk to us when we arrived and let us know all the things to do and see. Also provided Italian breakfast each day at 3 cafes you could choose from. Balcony was great with a washing line to hang up any washing or swimmers. Close by to lots of restaurants and walking distance to main shopping area. 5 mins walk or 15 mins on the bus to the closest beaches Bathroom was newly renovated and very nice

Shower needs some deep cleaning, especially in the door tracks- but otherwise everything was great!!

Marco - the host- was the highlight of the trip. He helped us with our heavy bags and addressed our concerns in a timely manner. The location was safe and very central- minutes to the beach! Quiet but walk around the corner to lively night life. For the price it was great.

Note to non Europeans: the AC is not very cold. The breakfast included is typical Italian (coffee and pastry) so keep that in mind. The bathroom was detached and didn’t get much air so it was hot in there and the shower was tiny. We had some trouble finding the place but that may have been us and the GPS user error.

Authentic Italian living in narrow streets, old buildings with a modern interior. Within easy access to the beach, busses, the harbour for ferries and the main shopping streets. We loved the sunsets from the roof. The host Marco was very friendly and kind, providing ample travel information. We enjoyed our stay very much. 🏳️‍🌈 friendly.

Everything was super clean and very well equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, ideal for getting around the area, as it’s close to both bus stops and the port for ferries to explore the coast. Plus, Marco, the host, was absolutely lovely: he welcomed us as soon as we arrived, explained everything in detail, and gave us great tips on what to see nearby.

The host was so nice to us and even helped us get our luggage up to our room. He gave us recommendations for places to eat and things to do. When we checked out we had a hard time finding out how to get to the ferry and he took his time to help us. The place was clean and the bathroom was wonderful. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a place so nice and have such good service. If you’re staying in Salerno, do not stay anywhere else but here!!!

Marco, was a most exceptional host. He went out of his way to help us settle in and advise us on all the tourist stuff. This was an experience, staying in historic Salerno, so much more character than the more modern end of town. Enjoying the people and different vistas at every turn down the cobbled streets. Value for money, clean and comfortable. We were here for a short time and made the most of it.

Marco was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. The location of the bnb provided a wonderful flavor of how people live in the area. Close walking to both ferry ports. Active park where you could find different entertainment depending on the evening. Not hilly and not a lot of steps making it a great town for staying to visit the Amalfi coast.

The bnb was not conspicuous. We had to contact the owner for entry and didn't even know we were right at the front door. Quite a few steps up to the room so not great with people that have difficulty with stairs.

Marco is the best host, kind, caring and helpful. He gave us tips for the best transport options and didn't hesitate to go out of his way to help us get around. My husband was sick on the trip and he insisted on going with us to the pharmacy so he could explain what we needed, in Italian. This is the kind of host one returns to a place for!

Very nice place to stay. Right in the center of the old town and near the beach, the sights of the city. Very close to the train and bus station even by walking. Very kind host. He helped me a lot during my stay with advance about place to visit and transport to reach them.

Marco was the best host. He was kind, warm, helpful and incredibly generous. He was quick to respond to any queries and gave us some great suggestions. The room is in a great location, close to the harbour, station and lots of fantastic places to eat.
