Thankful they let me check in early because I was there for state softball and it was so hot. Was nice to get out of the sun and a nice shower. Enjoyed that the hotel was close to several business so we were able to get to something quickly. Nice to walk out and be able to sit by the pond and watch the ducks. Breakfast was wonderful!! The pool was a blast was nice to see everyone having fun.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like. The stay was wonderful.

Staff absolutely exceeded our expectations and were so friendly. We had initially booked a mobility accessible room but only had a hearing accessible room; the manager on site literally dropped what she was doing to take me to another room to view to ensure that we found a room that was suitable for my disabled mom in a wheelchair. We only stayed one night but wished that this would have been our hotel for our entire stay in South Dakota. I highly recommend!

Easy check in, great location to Badlands. Super nice helpful local staff at front desk. The pool & breakfast building was a separate building, which was nice. Super clean pool and hot tub area. We came in the snow, but there are TWO pools one indoor and one outdoor. Clean exercise area. The breakfast was very good, clean equipment & great selection. We loved the automatic pancake machine. We also appreciate the ‘truly’ ADA accessible room we rented, many other accommodations say ‘accessible’ and are not. They had lowered bed, wide door ways, open area under sink, ADA accessible thresholds, sturdy shower bench and accessible shower sprayer. The pool even had a working chair lift to get into the pool. We will be staying here again!

We couldn’t get the room temperature comfortable. Adjusted to the lowest setting and still woke up too warm

This hotel is convenient to Mitchell and has a nice pool area with children's pool, large slide, pool toys and hot tub. The room was comfortable for three of us, parking and check-in were both easy, and the breakfast had decent options.

Holidays Inn Express in Mitchell proved to be an excellent choice for a stay in South Dakota ! The Hotel is located just off of interstate 90, it’s very clean , super comfortable beds and bedding , very friendly and honest staff !

Aaron at the front desk was amazing and very helpful! Comfortable beds, lots of space in the room and good breakfast.

One of the USB ports was broken, but there were others and we alerted the front desk to resolve the issue

Not a complaint but a recommendation: when you’re booking a room here, be sure to request a room with an “exterior window” if that’s important to you. Many of their rooms look over the indoor pool, so not quite an exterior window, and you’ll get the moisture and noise from the pool in your room.

Holiday Inn Express rarely disappoints, this was no exception! Clean, great staff, updated!

Rooms were a little small and the larger pool slide is only open from 5-9pm which was a little sad.
