Location was good. It was only about 15 minutes from family.

I am a disabled veteran, and I also had a senior citizen in my party. Unfortunately, no discounts were honored because my daughter made the reservations through a third party. Being disabled, it would have been nice if the handicap ♿️ parking was not occupied by vehicles that did not have valid disabled plates or hang tags. However, I can understunderstand that might be a difficult business decision to make. Hounding customers about incorrect parking could create more problems than it would solve.

Clean and very quiet. Bathroom and shower was nice and AC will crank out the air.

Television setup is a pain. Plenty of channels and clear, if you want to wade through them all night to determine "what else is on TV". Disjointed TV guide with a limited index broken into three locations along the guide and a remote that only allows a slow pace of channel by channel flipping,

Break fast was ok,, which they could let breakfast last until eleven and have more varieties of meats, and have grits or hash brown.

The bed wasn't firm enough for me, the first floor hallway floor was dirty 😕.. I had to hold the handle down on the toilet bowl to get a strong flash, wish they could had a small refrigerator in the room, I heard another customer on the second floor walking across their bedroom floor, which this hotel had thicker carpet on their floors, you heard more noises on the first floor.

The location was perfect. Easy on and off the interstate. The hotel was very clean and all of the staff were just amazing. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was so good. It was a pleasure to stay there.

There was absolutely nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the way the bathroom was setup, especially the soap and body wash. Lots of lighting options in the room.

The pool was not heated as advertised, so we did not get to use it like we wanted to. The free breakfast was not that great. Not enough choices. The pancake machine was broken. The cleaning staff hanging out in the outside sitting areas in the morning, leaving nowhere for guests to sit.

The lady who worked the breakfast area went above and beyond. She greeted us when we came in and asked us if we needed anything. She deserves a raise.

The hotel was packed and I only saw one housekeeper. She needed help. The hotel was full.

The breakfast was, hands down, without a doubt, the best of the free variety that I have ever had in over 50 years of travel. And the breakfast staff was purely delightful. It is obvious that she takes pride in what she does!

This was a beautiful, clean comfortable hotel! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The bed was great. I loved that the room was cool blue and not the orange that so many hotels use.

It's Louisiana, and roaches are a reality. I didn't see any sign of any in my room, but someone stepped on a big one right outside the housekeeping area. There were a bunch of employees coming and going, but no one bothered to clean that up in the 45 minutes or so between the time I first saw it and the time I left. I'm sure it got vacuumed up eventually, but that was pretty gross.

The staff are very attentive and friendly. The room was super clean and comfortable.

The room had a weird smell, not nasty, just a weird garlic smell like they cleaned with a garlic type cleaning agent.

The Opelousas day shift staff, on all the days I was there, from the front desk to their cleaning staff was exceptional.

There were teenagers racing up & down the hall on Saturday night/Sunday morning at after 1:30 in the morning. I would’ve liked the graveyard staff person to find out which room the kids came from and address it!!
