The property is full of history and the staff were friendly and enjoyed talking about the building, its history and even some of its spooky legends. There is an operational elevator that is original to the building that people will enjoy. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with a great room. Definitely eat at the restaurant!

The beds are a little too soft for me, but my husband loved it!

I LOVED the 50's/60's vibe it had going, not only in looks, but also with the audio over the intercoms. Old phone booths, and a staff elevator with the pull across gate. The room was clean and just great. TWO full bathrooms was a nice surprise.

The beds are a little TOO downy, but still slept well.

Interesting and memorable hotel. I loved that the room had a full bath and a half bath. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Would stay here again. Conveniently located to the Katy trail and they accommodated and welcomed cyclists.

Walls were thin

this is a lovely heritage hotel beautifully decorated. Its perfectly located n the historic centre of Sedalia and is close to many restaurants and sights.

Breakfast was very ordinary, for the price and hotel type it could have been a bit better.

The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great and the older guy (host?) and the cook in the breakfast area were very nice.

The rooms were dated, lots of cracks in the walls. Just needs spruced up a bit.

I rode the Katy Trail. Was concerned about arriving on bike but staff was great - leave bikes in lobby. Room was beautiful and comfortable. There isn't much in downtown Sedalia - one so so Pub. This is really sad for a great old American city. But I loved the Hotel. Will stay again next time through. Maybe downtown will get more shops and restaurants.

No complaints at all

Nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. Easy access to 2 highways. Price was very good for the time of year compared to any hotel with 1hr away.

The breakfast wasn’t that great, not a great selection and the juice was very bad. Walls are thin so you could hear loud neighbors, but thank goodness everyone around us were fairly quiet.

The doors are great original wood work but they need to cut ashes so you can easily open and close the doors.

Since Sedalia, MO is my boyhood home, I was greatly pleased to see that the hotel was brought up to a very high standard that was first class, without being over-done. It was really nice to see that the new ownership had gone out of the way to bring the facilities to modern standards, but keep the decore within the period the building was built.

The only quival would have been that the hotel restaurant was not open, but that was because my reservation was only a couple of days after Christmas. That was more than made up by the growth of the town which has many new restaurants with a great variety of culinary taste.

The motel was clean and comfortable, the staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a/c worked good. They had a great breakfast. I recommend the motel very neat older facility.
