I like the hotel location which is just next to the train station and near town center. Easy to find delicious food nearby and various choices. The room's sound proof is good, necessary bathroom and room amenities are provided.

Without air-conditioning at hot summer is challenging to sleep well during the night time. Daily House cleaning only doing the half room 😞. Don't close the window or you will feel stuffy and hot in the room. The impatient car driver at the bustling street is too eager to honk the horn, so that you can hear it almost 24/7.

Everything. Room come with washing machine, microwave oven, fridge, fan heater. All you needed for a modern living.

Very close to most city attractions and the subway (3 minute walk). If you use exit F, the hotel is behind you as you come out of the subway. The manager speaks English well and she organised some city attraction notes in English for me with good explanations of how to get around. I was given a very large room with a "lovers swing" Excellent choice of restaurants nearby including the Kunming night market only 5 - 10 minutes walk away.

No breakfast available which may or may not be a problem.

Even though the building itself does not look that great, I found the room inside very comfortable and beautiful.. it was very spacious and bright, located at 21th flor so it had a view on all the city, for a night sharming scenario. Also the bed huge and comfortable. The lady who spoke a bit english was there to answer to my questions and she gave me a room with washing machine to wash my clothes because I asked her. She was kind. The hotel is close to Kunming train station (only 10-15 yen to get there) so I find it easy for me to move around. There is a 7up just down the building and many shops around. Also it was not expensive to sleep there. There is a huge schermo to watch TV.

They dont provide breakfast (as many places in China. Due to the fact that it is an hotel they should have breakfast service). Also, the guys who stay at reception should learn a bit of english to be able to work and communicate in a place where people coming from all over the world go. I bet there are english speaking people who are willing to work in those places. This problem is very diffuse in China where foreigners have problems to communicate in the stations, hotels, airports and with the taxi drivers. Finally, there are no airconditionairs hot/cold in the rooms.

Ha Luo Hotel is best for its convenient location in the city Kunming with MRT 地铁 in walking distance which connections to many attractions. The hotel staff are always very polite and helpful to respond to your needs. Though breakfast is not provided, foods stalls and eating outlets are conveniently located just outside the hotel and nearby streets like Beijing Road.

The bathroom's shower needs to be maintained to prevail leaking

strategic location, easy to go anywhere. very easy to get public transportation. 15-20 walk to Nanping street while looking at the shops along the way. And most importantly the staff is very nice. at first we got a room that could see a beautiful view, comfortable room and soft bed. but the water was very slow. and then he changed us to a comfortable room also with strong water 😁 Thank you.

Huge room and super friendly staff! Everything was very clean and they helped us with metro information to bus station as well! The lady in charge was already leaving when we arrived at the building but she was kind enough to go up to the reception with us for the check in with her staff and waited until we went to our room.

They cleaned my room every day (new towels, water, etc.), and this was a fantastic location near metro (easy journey from Kunming airport) as well as near several food alleys and pedestrian streets. Great value!

Nothing really! Perhaps a couple extra (fluffier) pillows beyond the two provided - otherwise, excellent in all respects.

Staff service, location and vicinity to busy central district. So convenient to and from Changshui Iternationa Airpirt and Kunming Railway Station from where I could connect with so many different places by fast speed train.
