The beach .

Our room was over the restaurant, and until 1 h you could hear everything. And at 7 am when they prepared the breakfast. The walls from the facility are tiny and you could hear everything from the rooms around you. For an international hotel we expect that all the personnel should speak English, but on the bar and in the restaurant the most of the employees would speak only Italian. By checking out we had to pay some of the services and the city tax. But the city tax they wanted in cash, which makes you suspicious why?

A very pleasant hotel with friendly and communicative staff. There is a parking lot right behind the hotel, so parking was not a problem. The sea is 50 meters away. There is a small pool behind the hotel, but it is very nice and pleasant. It was no problem to stay by the pool even after checking out. Perfect breakfast with a rich selection of everything possible.

Some of the fruit for breakfast was rotten. One day, the pool attendant did not remove the vacuum cleaner from the pool, even though he saw that the vacuum cleaner hose was obstructing guests.

I booked this hotel for trip with my parents and we all really loved the place, and excellent service they have provided. Hotel has nice and spacious rooms with a beautiful terrace with sea view (not all rooms, but ours was in front of the building. But there are nice terraces for rooms also with pool/garden view). Beach is just few meters away across the road. Hotel has a very good restaurant. We have arrived at 14.30, and restaurant closes at that time for afternoon break. But despite that they have served us very willingly. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful with all our questions and requests - including preparation a early breakfast before trip, and later check out on the day of our leave. After 3 days we had to move to Cagliari as per our plan and bookings but my father said that he would not mind to stay our whole time in Domus De Janas, as it was excellent stay he liked very much.

Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this very cosy and well-maintained hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The location is excellent—just a minute’s walk from the beach—and the availability of parking was a big plus. Our room was well equipped, with thoughtful touches like cutlery, wine glasses, and plenty of hangers. The outdoor area was beautifully green and full of flowers, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely love to come back!

Nothing to mention.

The hotel has an excellent position, practically on the beach, sand beach, but a lot of trees for the shadow or long walks. The apartment is well equipped, there is a small kitchen as well, but the restaurant is excellent, so we had breakfast and dinner a la cart in the restaurant/pizzeria. We stayed two nights, made a trip to the sights in the area from there. Hotel’s parking, cars, motorcycles.

I liked everything, next time we’ll come for more days.

Very good localisation near the beach, nicely decorated, a lot of plants, very nice staff, very good restaurant. Hotel restaurant very good also for the dinner. Bar with ice creams , coffee and drinks open all the day.

Factoring in the value for money, there’s not much to dislike here. The bed was a little uncomfortable.

We liked the hotel very much, especially the roof terrace on the top of the hotel building! We spent there a few hours and it was some magical experience: sunset, sea, the ancient tower, good drinks... The room itself was tiny, but OK, because we did not spend much time inside. Breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful: they prepared us breakfast packages one morning, because we had to go early for the boat trip from Santa Maria Navarese. The beach is really close and it was not crowded at all (the end of June). We would definitely go again if we could.

Very nice room, good restaurant. We had two entry/exit doors, one to the hallway and one to the garden/pool.

Loud doors/key/plumbing due to the age of the building. This is common throughout old/traditional buildings in Europe

The local specialties that we tried at the restaurant were delicious! And the breakfast was also very good, with scrambled eggs and bacon and a lot of lovely cakes. The hotel directly faces the beach. Our room was at the top of the building, very comfortable, quiet, and cozy with a minibar and corkscrew thoughtfully provided. AC worked great, and the shower was very good. Because the hotel has a panoramic terrace -- and it's so close to the sea -- I don't think it's necessary to book a sea view room (the balconies are exclusive to the rooms but are not fully separated from each other and therefore not fully private). This is a great, full-service hotel, with a pool, spa, babysitting, excursion and rental services, private parking, and even its own gelateria. Recommended!
