We love this spot!! We have been here many time over the last 7 years and my children look forward to it every year. So close to the beach, food truck and our room. We cook our meals in the room and enjoy the view and the lake every moment we are here. Terrence and Angela are so friendly and accommodating. They know our names and treat my children like family. We appreciate the warm welcome and catching up the owners every year. Home away from home

Super location with Lake view. Liked the atmosphaire. Everything was there and even more. Large comfi beds. Matress a bit squicky and soft like a hammock, but we never slept sooo good as here. We were greatful for the heating, as the temp. was 8 degrees and non stop raining. The Kitchen was well equipped with everyhting we needed, although dishes and cutlery. where thrown together.

A bit used up, needs some redoing. Baking oven was not working.

Everything was perfect. Terrance was able to get us a room 1 night early and had us move to our family room the next day. It was ready for us to move in hours before check in time so we could just enjoy the beach and the weather. Location is ideal for a family stay as the public beach is right next door. We are always treated like our business matters and that we are welcome guests. My children were treated so well and watched over by the owners, Terrance and the two other lovely ladies working there. My daughter came looking for beach toys, which I decided not to bring this trip. Terrance was working by our room and asked what she was looking for. When I told him I didn't bring the sand toys he handed her a $10 bill and sent us to Fields to pick something up. She picked out buckets and shovels for her and her brother and came back to find Terrance to say thank you again. Both of our rooms were clean and organized and very comfy. This is our favorite spot to spend our holidays and love spending our family time here every summer. Thanks for a wonderful stay, so hard to drive away... always wishing for one more day.

Being on the water and having a private balcony, made morning coffee that much better. Waking up to the mist on the water and paddle boarding through it was exhilarating We rented the family suite, which was small, but very cozy They rent kyacks, paddleboards and canoes on location There was a lone canadian goose that would follow us on the water and hang with us on the beach.... we named him Larry!!

Facilities are in need of an upgrade, bathroom, especially woke up very early both mornings to hear something scurrying in the walls, lost a lot of sleep ( had to remind myself it was not a city location, sort of remote, so this was expected)

Great location just off highway 5 at the top of an unpaved hill adjacent to Dutch Lake. I was on my Harley so it was a bit of a challenge parking at the top but the manager gave me room 16. The other cabins are right by the beach. I was able to park right up front. The beach is at the bottom of the hill on the left. There is a food truck with great smoothies. The cabin was roomy and the bed very comfortable.. I was able to check in at 2 pm and walked to the Painted Turtle restaurant for a nice supper.

This rustic, out of the way motel was quiet, clean and very comfortable, had a nice view of the lake. Mini kitchen (we only used the full fridge/freezer). Two chairs with a table, plus a comfy chair. Three pillows with lots of loft (yes!). The table fan and ceiling fan were quiet and our room was cool enough to sleep comfortably without AC. We would stay here again! Nice towels.

The bathroom was quite compact, but there was plenty of hot water!

This was a perfect spot for us. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The location is on the lake and our view was of the lake. Of course the motel is a bit older, but it was clean and comfortable. I got a room with two beds and was pleasantly surprised to see there was a wall that divided the room. It was nice to have a little extra privacy. The price was right and I definitely will stay again next I'm in this area.

The view from the room was exceptional. The very best. Loved sitting at the table and watching the lake through the big windows. The Manager was very hospitable and accommodating.

The Motel is very old and the structure is in need of major works. The room was pleasantly furnished and the bed was very comfortable. I would say the room did not meet my expectations, while the location and view was above my expectations.

We felt it was a little gem for its price and location. We stayed in one if the econo rooms that wasn't on the lake. While being on the lake would have been better, we found the set up of the hotel property made it easy for us to access picnic tables and firepits located in front of the rooms facing the lake. Also there is a public park next door that had a beautiful dock that was in the sun in the afternoon that you could use. Suggest bringing your own foldable deck chair. Water in lake was crystal clear and bottom was nice and sandy. Our econo room had a great bed and also provided a little fridge, small microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee pot and some coffee. There were 2 communal barbeques with cooking utensils 1 provided for the back room and 1 for the front group. In the econo room there were No plates, knives or forks provided so bring your own. While the econo room was basic and not modern ( kind of reminded me of a hotel room from the 60s)...it was clean and comfortable. They also provided a front deck with 2 chairs and a table. Bathroom was small but clean...again not modern but very acceptable. You can rent kayaks etc...very nice. We loved it.

We were lucky because the weather was great so we spent all our time outside at the beach enjoying the water and sun. If you had rainy weather...it wouldnt have been so great. Heard from other people staying in the front cabins that had kitchens that their beds were not comfortable. Room had a little musty smell that disappeared once we opened the windows.

Well-equipped room with plenty of space. The showswtopper, though, was the unbelievable view over the lake from the terrace. The inn is right next to the public beach, so you can nip out for a swim without having to take everything to change with you. Didn't meet any staff, but it seemed well organised.
