The location of the hotel was excellent. It's located in its own grounds, beside the lake. It is 3km outside the town of Lathi. We walked into the Marina and back, and it was a nice walk. There is also a bus that goes from directly outside the grounds of the hotel to the town centre and taxis were available also. The main hotel building is beautiful. Our room was in a separate building beside it. The room was small but perfectly adequate, very clean and comfortable. The view of the lake from our window was lovely. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room in the main hotel building overlooking the gardens and lake. It was excellent with a good choice of both hot and cold food.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room when we arrived. However when I asked, the lovely lady on reception supplied us with what we needed to make tea and coffee in the room.. The only complaint I would have is the fact that the fan in the bathroom ran all night. Usually the fan comes on when the light is turned on and goes off when the light is turned off. Well not this one.....it ran all night. I'm a very light sleeper and I didn't sleep well at all. My husband had no issue with it but he's a good sleeper.

There's a direct bus line from the centre to the gates of Mukkulan kartano. The area is beautiful with pretty parks overlooking the lake. In the evening we even walked back from the centre and in the morning we strolled around the parks. The room was tidy and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't get a room with a view, but we really made most of the surroundings on our walks. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere there, too. I'd highly recommend a stay at Mukkulan kartano.

The room was excellent and very tidy. The bathroom seemed a bit outdated but did not disturb us that much. The receptionist was absolutely delightful and offered us some bubbles for our anniversary. The sauna in the morning (private usage, paid extra) was a great experience and it was awesome to swim in the lake.

The sauna is a bit outdated if some possible improvements need to be mentioned.

All great, I was just missing tea and coffee place or having that in the room.

Excellent location, exceptional breakfast and gorgeous views. Easy to park and access to the city. Staff is friendly. Did not have the time to try the sauna but, it it has a great view to the lake. Looking forward to return next summer.

Nothing major to complain about it. Perhaps, if they have a 24 hours staff at the reception would be better but, I made my way in and the staff was really helpful. One tip, if you can arrive on day light your experience will be much better.

We spent one night from Friday to Saturday and I had to checkout early in the morning - earlier than the time when breakfast was served. The receptionist lady was kind enough to promise to leave a breakfast for me in the fridge so that I could have before the official breakfast hours and she did.

The staff were top notch: extremely helpful and professional. The breakfast was amazing, and the interior of the manor looked perfectly restored. Great views of the lake, this was a perfect spot to unwind and have a peaceful evening.

Hard to say anything negative, since the stay was exceptional. It would have been good if the walkways had gravel on the ice : it was extremely slippery walk from the parking area.

It's a great location at a lake where you can walk around and enjoy the view. The surrounding is quiet and relaxing. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is very good. You reach the city centre in some minutes by car.

The manor house where we had our room was filled with history but as well tidy and practical. The grounds with old oak trees and lakeview was magnificent. The breakfast was excellent with several tasty choices. The personnel was pleasant and helpful.

The manor and its surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. And the breakfast alone is worth the stay!

Soundproofing is not good, luckily everything was peaceful and quiet.
