This is a great little hotel in the heart of the city center. Close to everything and very walkable. We were able to walk to the bus station that took us to the ski lifts and received a free bus pass from the hotel. We loved the friendly staff, especially Michael. He is warm and helpful with a fun sense of humor... he made our stay amazing and was very attentive and thorough with great suggestions. We loved all of the little unexpected perks of staying in this hotel.

We arrived very late due to delay of the trains therefore almost all restaurants in the town were closed. So we could not really make use of the facilities but the breakfast next morning was great with a huge variety to choose from. Staff was helpful and supportive as far as it was possible that evening.

No roomservice for nighthours. So we had to go to the only open place for food which was a turkish fast food place, but the main reason for this was the delay of the train to Oberstdorf.

The bathrooms are not very private which is not super comfy when you’re not traveling alone It’s directly at the church & churches make sounds, so the wake up was early 🤣

Breakfast was fabulous! Rooms small, but functional. Very good location - Oberstdorf centre! Kind stuff, always ready to help! Nice hotel, a bit old, but very nice!

Parking is problem in Oberstdorf. Hotel has underground garage, but you can not drive car inside by your own. Although very helpful stuff will get your car whenever you want.

Excellent location, breakfast was wonderful and a lovely atmosphere. Reading room was large and relaxing.

Some aspects of the room were a little worn but the bathroom was very good and overall the stay was excellent.

location, sauna The hotel is really good for skiers travelling with public transportation. It has a small sauna and rest room but is always empty. We really enjoyed the sauna. We also booked the skipass from the hotel with reduced price.

Overall everything was perfect great location walking distance to everywhere in the town and breakfast was great and especially the staff was helpful, super friendly I love this place

I stayed in the new annex, and had breakfast and dinner in the old building, everything was perfect

it was not too cold outside, so I suppose there was no need to have the fireplace on, I love lounges with fireplace
