Very neat and clean property and room. Beds were comfortable the room was spacious. We were extremely pleasantly surprised to see actual GLASS drinking glasses,wine glasses and ceramic coffee mugs. New fridge and microwave. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Tap water is safe to drink. Ice available at the office and is also safe to consume. Rooms are set back from the roadway and were very quiet. Wheat field surrounded the property and it was a pleasure to sit in the Adirondack chairs enjoying a drink and listening to nature. We're hikers and found out nicely centrally located to many amazing trails. Food land grocery store with LCBO 2 mins away in Mindemoya. Gorgeous sunsets just down the road on Lake Mindemoya. A pleasure to stay and we'll definitely book again.

When we first got there we first noticed how beautiful the grounds were. Staff was incredibly friendly when we arrived. When we went into room, instantly smelt clean and was such a fresh lovely room. The grounds are beautiful and have many areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. We would return to this Inn for sure and find it so much better than those that are large cooperate, "well known" ones. They take pride in their Inn and it shows in the quality of your stay! Also a great restaurant next door and a close walk to a beautiful walk to the lake!!!

Nothing about this place was bad... loved it!

Central location on the island, rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The owner was welcoming and friendly. It was great having a grocery store just down the street, especially since the Inn has a cordage and microwave in each room. Make sure to check out the fossil trail (Wagg’s Woods) which is also in town.

Not a lot of dining choices nearby, but that’s not something the inn can control

Staff were friendly and helpful and know the island very well to make recommendations about where to go and where to eat! The rooms were very clean and comfortable we stayed in the newly renovated one which was contemporary. The location is a great place to tour around from as it’s fairly centrally located and close to bridal falls, cup and saucer, gore and providence bay! Highly recommend this inn! Thanks Larry

lovely quaint little spot with a friendly and helpful owner (larry), attractive clean rooms, comfy beds, very conveniently located near the espresso bar, grocery store, grill & chill, and near plenty of beaches, hikes like the cup & saucer… only an hour 20 minutes to the west end of the island… after a long day in the sun, was reassuring to turn in the driveway & know we had a good clean bed, shower with strong water pressure, and plenty of room for our overpacked sports gear. definitely the best place to stay on manatoulin!

This hotel was in a perfect location for us near Lake Mindemoya. We brought our own kayaks and we were able to put in at the beach close to the Hotel. We were able to bike down to the lake as well and have a swim on our first night there. Lovely clear water and sandy bottom. Our very large room had a full kitchenette with a full stove, fridge microwave. The queen bed was very comfortable and the room had alot of room for our bicycles and all our gear.

We like the convenience of a drive up and unload at the door style of motel when we are on a long car trip with a lot of luggage but often that means compromising on the room amenities. This modest motel is off the beaten track a little and our room at the back had no view at all but everything worked, the furniture was arranged sensibly and was very clean. The wifi was strong and the bed was comfy. It was so nice to have enough blankets, towels and coffee without having to ask for more of something. It had a family atmosphere and was quiet at night.

We were fortunate to have brought our dinner with us as we arrived past 7 pm and everything nearby was closed. This isn't exactly a negative, just be forewarned.

The gentleman at the front was great, very friendly.and accommodating. The property was immaculate. The rooms were very large and clean.

If you have a puck up or other larger vehicle there is not much room to get past cars that are already parked in the section we were in.

We travel a fair amount and usually don't have high hopes for places we stay. We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled in! The property was pristine, clean & well kept. We had a room with a kitchenette that had everything supplied that we needed. Very clean and well taken care of. Great staff, willing to suggest sites/places of interest and food recommendations. You get top notch customer service and are made to feel welcome. We will be staying here again on our return trips.

This motel is very clean and very comfortable for our family of four. Luxury motel on the island in our opinion! Well situated, close to many attractions, and very helpful owners.

Nothing! I wish we could have stayed two nights in a row but it’s a popular place.
