We loved the uniqueness of the room/building. The bed was amazing. We spent our 23rd wedding anniversary there. I am pretty sure I read all the little notes and of course, left my own. We were looking for a slow-paced pace quiet getaway and this was perfect. Casey Coffee was amazing, Crazy eight bbq grill 😋. We ate at Richard Farmhouse Restaurant for our anniversary dinner neat experience. "Big things in a little town"
If you get a room on the 2nd floor expect to hear loud movements from the 3rd floor if guests are above you. But remember this is a unique old building and is honestly part of the charm. (The stairs are steep)

The room was GORGEOUS! Free parking was definitely a plus, and the room even had a floor-standing fan which was perfect for us traveling in from the southeast, as well as a community coffee station right outside our door in the hall (which also has spare utensils and other things if you can't find them in your room). Communication from our hostess was pretty fast, and the check-in/out was very easy and informative.
I will say, the outdoor utility elevator was a little bit scary (but I'm not a fan of elevators to begin with). If you're not good with stairs, it may be a difficult stay. But we were good with everything!

Love the location and the adorable little town. The room was really cool with the exposed brick. A different type of room and it was charming! Loved the high ceilings and the uniqueness. Staff very pleasant.
Bathroom could use a hand towel holder and toilet paper holder attached to wall. There wasn't a place to hang hand towel and toilet paper was a floor tower that kept falling over. Small things though. Maybe a tad bigger sofa or an ottoman to rest feet would be nice! Coffee maker needing to be descaled

The cleanliness was impeccable. The room was comfortable and well appointed. It is absolutely a wonderful old building made into a beautiful inn. Safety was never a concern. The bed was very comfortable, and again, the room was spotless. A great experience overall. Definitely should be on your list to stay in.
It isn't so much a didn't like: The stairs are appropriate for the age of the building, so be aware that you may be hoisting your luggage via stairs. There is an elevator to the second floor however it wasn't working during our stay. It's not an issue if you are mobile. It could be a bit noisy, again it's the building and should be expected. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was a perfect location. It is in the middle of most of the Big Things. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasent.
We thought that the breakfast was going to be onsite instead of receiving a coupon for a local restaurant. The restaurant was a good value and had good food. The coupon only covered 1/2 of the bill. It was hard to see the key pad for the outer door at night. Information as to where to park would have been nice. We were uncertain until we asked the receptionist.

I loved the repurposed building with the rough brick walls and fixtures. Truly beautiful. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Simple check in and out through text. Perfect location to explore downtown Casey by foot. It was a delight!
I really loved everything, but it is important to note that if you have an issue with stairs this probably isn't your best choice. There is an exterior elevator though...although those make me a little nervous so I climbed the mountain of stairs lol. Also, if you are a light sleeper, the creaking stairs and trains passing through could be an issue for you. It was a plus for me...reminded me of my childhood at my grandmother's home.

So cute, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for finding the Big Things.
Access to the room was tricky. The building is older so there was a lot of noise from the other guest on the stairs. It would have been nice to have another mirror to use for makeup and hair when someone else was in the bathroom. Refrigerator was not very cold.

The overall vibe was super cute. Nicely decorated and had a very updated and modern bathroom. It was very spacious!
The mattress in the bed closest to the bathroom was pretty rigid and I had trouble sleeping on it.

We got a breakfast voucher for several places in town. We picked the WW by the wind chimes and had great food and service.
We had a little trouble with the door codes us being older and not familiar with the technology, but once we got used to it there wasn’t a problem.

We stayed here for a night on a trip across the state. It's a nice stopover and all the big things in town make for a fun distraction. The room was clean and instructions for access were sent to us so check in was easy despite a late arrival. Appreciated the coffee area. WiFi was fast enough.
The hotel is right by the train tracks and a couple of freight trains went by in the night. Not a huge deal but light sleepers might want to bring ear plugs. No lobby area or anything. The listing promised free breakfast but this was in the form of a voucher for a few local eateries. We were travelling as a group of three so the $10 didn't really cover breakfast, think we got the same voucher as everyone else, despite being three people. Again, not a major thing but little details can make a difference. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again.
