The lady at the front desk was helpful with the information we asked about. The gentleman that sets up the morning breakfast was kind enough to make the coffee a little early because we were up at 5.

The lady I was with is a smoker, and there was not a place to sit and talk outside. We had to stand while visiting. A picnic table or patio table would have been nice. We wanted to sit outside and play cards and couldn't do that outside or inside.

I booked the location as it was the closest to Martinsville, IL where the River Ridge football team was playing in the 8 man State playoffs. A couple of days later my son Doug Nicholas who is the football coach for River Ridge advised that a number of RR parents and players had booked into the same Motel. This worked out well as we were able to host an after game celebration for the players and families in the motel lobby. Though we were a bit disappointed in the outcome of the game, the ability to meet and converse with the players and parents was very nice. It was also meaningful for me to be present for the last game for my son Coach Doug and my grandson Seth, a senior, to close out the last 4 years of working together for RR football. A tender moment which made the 8 hour trek from El Dorado, KS to Martinsville, IL worthwhile! So thank you and your staff for making our stay a memorial one!!!

My expectation for an in route motel is that it's clean, have a comfortable bed and pillows, a decent shower and towels, and a reasonably quiet room. The Days Inn at Casey met and exceeded those expectations. In addition, the breakfast was good. The price paid for this room was an exceptional value. I have a hobby that requires occasional travel and I always choice lower cost hotels to keep cost down. So I’ve experienced lots of bad hotels. This Days Inn in Casey is not one of them. Keep up the good work!

The entrance to the hotel is not well marked but you can figure it out eventually.

The location was perfect for the event we were attending. Rooms were spacious enough to be functional. Lobby was cleaned a couple of times each day.

The breakfast is like so many hotel breakfasts.... Nothing but carbs. I know that protein is expensive and takes more effort to prepare, but it would be nice. Also, there was a wonderful desk in my room but not an outlet anywhere near.

Loud barking dogs while we were there. Also we left our room for ice, large dog was sitting outside the door of another room. He did not barking or anything but he definitely startled us.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the person working the desk was very nice. A/C was cold. Breakfast was good.

The toilet rocked and if the lid was on the tank it ran all the time.

The non-smoking room reeked of smoke when we entered. The room was clean otherwise but clearly someone had recently smoked in the room.

I slept in the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel here. The room was very large and the pillows were wonderful as well.

It’s a little “run down” looking. What I mean by that is our room when we walked in the bathroom door had been damaged and was covered with white plaster on the wooden door. It didn’t affect our stay the room was still very spacious and clean
