The hotel was owned and run by a really friendly couple and the husband spoke English. The bed was comfortable and bedding great. Our room was a decent size with a separate toilet and bathroom, private to us. Great shower. It was on the road but with the window closed, we didn’t hear any traffic. They kindly stored our bikes very safely. There was a great restaurant on the lake just 5 minutes walk away for supper. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious. Great place to stay.

Good breakfast, bed was comfy and our room was tidied and cleaned daily. The owners were friendly and attentive - they offered us a beach umbrella knowing that we didn’t have any.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about the place. We found food/restaurant options were rather limited in the area. But it wasn’t too difficult since we had a car.

Property lovely. Fresh flowers in the room, dog bowl and biscuit in the bowl, bottle of water and chocolates all nice touches to make our stay enjoyable. Hosts lovely. Pierre told us of a beach on our way to San Sebastián which we tried, our dog loved it, dog friendly. Breakfast fresh fruit salad, croissant, fresh bread and jams with coffee and juice. All in all great stay over, bed large and comfortable and room nice decor. Would recommend this b&b to anyone passing through.

We loved our stay in Gastes. The hosts are very kind and welcoming (even despite our late arrival). The breakfast was delicious and the room super cozy. You feel at home in an instant which makes it hard to leave the place.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

We were due to stay only one night, but the next morning it was raining very hard, not much fun on a motorcycle! The owners were so very kind in moving things around so that we could stay. Their kindness was much appreciated. A delightful place to spend an extra day.

Our experience was absolutely delightful. The highlight of my mornings was the delicious breakfast prepared by the hosts. They used high-quality, fresh products that truly made a difference.

Beds were not really confortable but they were OK for a couple of nights. It is recommended to double check another type of beds

A very nice bed and breakfast owned by lovely hosts. The house is old and charming with a beautiful garden around it. The room was exceptionally clean and pretty. Sheets, towels and the whole room had a very pleasant smell. We were served a tasty breakfast in the morning. Dog friendly place.
