This is a lovely hotel that we stayed at for one evening at whilst on a 2 week tour of Sicily though most tourists are there for longer. Amazing location and outdoor pools, highly recommended. All staff were exceptional and it really was a place where you could base yourself. You do need a car if you want to dine elsewhere as the hotel is remote but to be honest everything you need is here anyway. Breakfast was amazing, one not to miss. We tried the fixed price evening buffet and was disappointed at the quality of food for this standard of hotel compared to the amazing breakfast. We were at the start the season and other restaurants were closed so maybe just unlucky this time around.

The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had (and I travel a lot). The whole resort is beautiful, and is so relaxing due to the amount of greenery present. The pools are clean and very well maintained.

If you showered in the morning, there would be no hot water - a pretty basic problem. Then, we had a cockroach in our room, which was a bit disgusting, and not what you'd want in a 5 star hotel. The staff needs to work on their approach and friendliness, we noticed when people were nice to us (which was so rare, we managed to count only 4 people overall being that way!)

Beautiful surroundings, the architecture and interior were stunning. The pool area was large and nice. The area down by the sea was also lovely. The breakfast buffet was the absolute highlight – 10 out of 10. They had a wide selection, chefs making omelets, pancakes, sautéed vegetables, a variety of breads, cold cuts, fruit, and various drinks. Spacious and comfortable.

We give the hotel 5 out of 6, and what brings the rating down, unfortunately, is the service at the pool area, which was lacking. There was little follow-up with guests, and when ordering, it was slow or got mixed up. The same goes for the restaurants – both the seafood and the pizza places. Service was too slow. We also wish it had been better facilitated for swimming in the sea. There is a beautiful terrace by the water, but there are rocks and cliffs that make it difficult to swim from. Building a pier with a ladder would significantly enhance the hotel's facilities.

Great room with its own pool. Both the pool and room very clean. Very nice staff that did the cleaning. Gardens were beautiful. The location of the property is amazing - by the sea in the middle of nowhere. You MUST have a car otherwise you are stuck at the hotel. Huge breakfast buffet that serves until 11am 😎 The beach is rocky not sand. Three pools with lots of sunloungers + sunloungers by the rocky beach. Several restaurants and great little beach kaftan shop.

The only complaint we had were the staff at the breakfast restaurant and the bar/pool area. There was plenty of staff but they were not very keen on doing their job! We were there off season in May so hotel only 1/3 full. But guests had to clear the tables them selves at breakfast because staff couldn’t be bothered. Also they didn’t restock glasses, plates and food. The staff was friendly and very nice to chat to but just “forgot” to do their job! The staff at the bar were just completely useless even if you gave up on any table/pool service and went up to the bar yourself. They just seemed surprised you were there and bothered by your presence!

We spent 4 nights at Mangia's Brucoli Resort for a family vacation, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The resort is situated on a beautiful stretch of coastal terrain, steeply sloping all the way down to the sea, which provides stunning views and easy access to the water. The gardens and lawns are meticulously maintained, adding to the resort’s charm and serene atmosphere. Our family stayed in four standard rooms, which were comfortable and equipped with coffee machines and mini-refrigerators. The facilities at the resort, including the swimming pools, were excellent—perfect for both adults and children. There is also a small, rocky beach onsite, and I’d recommend bringing water shoes to make the experience more enjoyable. The hotel offers several dining options, and the food was consistently delicious. However, the service in some of the restaurants was noticeably slow, which was a bit disappointing for a resort of this caliber. Additionally, the hotel administration could be more efficient; we encountered a few minor organizational hiccups that one wouldn’t expect from a 5-star establishment. A highlight of our stay was the nearby village of Brucoli, just a short distance from the resort. It has several great dining spots, but Pizzicotto da Napoli—a family-run, affordable trattoria—deserves special mention for its fantastic food and warm hospitality. In summary, Mangia’s Brucoli Resort offers a relaxing coastal getaway with lovely scenery, great amenities, and easy access to local charm. While there’s room for improvement in service, it’s still a wonderful destination for families looking to unwind and explore.

We had the most unforgettable stay at Mangia’s Brucoli Resort – a stunning luxury retreat nestled in the heart of Sicilian nature. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking views, lush greenery, and a truly peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind and relax. A special mention must go to Claudia, the resort manager, whose warmth and professionalism truly elevated our experience. She made us feel welcome and taken care of every single day – always with a smile and ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfasts at the resort are absolutely exceptional – a real highlight of our stay. Every morning was a delight thanks to the perfect cappuccino made by the lovely Mrs. Nella (honestly, one of the best we’ve ever had!) and the delicious freshly made crepes by Graziella, who brought a touch of joy and authenticity to each morning. The resort caters wonderfully to both couples looking for romance and families with children wanting fun and relaxation. There’s a great balance of privacy, comfort, and activities for all ages. We can’t wait to return – this place truly feels like a slice of paradise in Sicily. Highly recommended!

This hotel is absolutely lovely. People who work in the hotel are charming, nice vibe about all the staff we had contact with. The location is beautiful, 20mins walk from the small chilled out seaside town, Brucoli. The rooms are lovely and spacious, comfortable beds, everywhere in hotel spotlessly clean. The resort as luscious and green, with different spots, pools, beach areas, little gardens, sports areas and canoes. We tried bistro and pizzeria, food excellent fresh quality and reasonably priced. Finally, breakfast had lots of varied fresh quality choices. The water taxi made a nice little trip too.

I try to give fair honest reviews, and have stayed in lots of nice hotels with little things to dislike, but I couldn’t find anything to dislike about this place at all.

From the front desk team to the housekeeping staff and the waiters at the resort restaurant, everyone made us feel valued and well cared for. Even small details — like remembering our names and favorite drinks — made a big difference. The service felt personal, yet never intrusive. The Structure and Setting: The resort itself is stunning. Surrounded by lush greenery and with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, it feels like a private paradise. The architecture strikes a beautiful balance between modern design and natural harmony, blending seamlessly with the coastal landscape. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of the sunrise over the sea was simply magical. The Pool: The pool area deserves a special mention — it’s a true haven of relaxation. Overlooking the sea, the large infinity-style pool offers both refreshing dips and Instagram-worthy views. There are plenty of loungers and shaded areas, making it easy to unwind with a book or a cocktail in hand. The poolside bar serves delicious snacks and drinks, and the staff are always nearby to assist with anything you might need. The Gym: For those who like to stay active even on holiday, the resort’s gym is a fantastic facility. It’s well-equipped with modern machines, free weights, and cardio gear.

the size of the resort was excellent, big, spacious but not overcrowded. the staff were incredibly friendly and the range of cocktails were excellent and tasty. food options were also good with 4-5 restaurants available with 1-2 closed depending on day. Pizza's were particularly good. Breakfast was excellent with a huge range to choose from, with Barista available and non dairy options.

the Location of the resort is remote, so ensure you have transport arranged so you can explore ( if this is what you want). while the staff are friendly and service is excellent in most cases, we did witness a gap in sevice at the bar area on a number of occasions where it could be improved for a 5 star resort - sometimes at the bar area being left for 10-15 minutes to get an order placed. once placed, service was quick enough.

The rooms we very clean and super comfortable. The pool and deck area is lovely. On a clear day, Mt Etna makes a sensational appearance. On the deck, looking out to sea and look left; there she is. Such a treat. All the restaurants are conveniently located with good choices and good food. All the staff are friendly. The tennis facilities were great too. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want, especially the omolette's and barista coffee and alternative milk choices. It was very convenient to have a Eurocar hire agent in reception. Brucoli is centrally situated for hiring a car to visit Taormina and Siracuse and Ortega. And not expensive.

I would not have attempted walking into Brucoli this late in the season. Because of uneven roads, it is not well lit at all. Taking a taxi is the best idea, a bit expensive at €20 each way.
