This is a beautiful converted mansion nestled in the mountains a 10 minute drive from Asheville Airport. The grounds are peaceful and serene, the vistas gorgeous. The staff is kind and welcoming. Upon arriving, I found out that the restaurant wasn’t open until dinner (off season). I had been traveling since early morning and hadn’t eaten and one of the managers offered to go out and get something for me to eat! So above and beyond. I chose to spend the afternoon relaxing and save my appetite for dinner. So glad I did. The food was wonderful, the restaurant lovely and inviting, and Jack, my service was gracious and accommodating. Altogether an outstanding stay!

This place was perfect for myself and 2 kids. We were on minutes from food and shopping and only 22 minutes from the baseball fields for our tournament games each day. It was also very nice that the pool and hot tub were open 24hrz-7days a week, considering my son needed the hot tub after each game!! We highly recommend this place, great location, great staff, cute and comfortable rooms - and as a single mother of 3 kids-the prices were better than a hotel. We will definitely be back one day!!!

We love the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful. The dinner was great, and loved the wine selection. The views out back are amazing, and can’t wait to come back for a massage this time. We love Hendersonville.

We stayed in room 101. Above us was the dining room, so we heard everything. The bed had no box springs, just 4 slats, so sleeping was not ver comfortable. A few outlets didn’t work, and the shower curtain was missing. During the stay, the shampoo and conditioner container fell off the wall, which was no big deal. The internet wasn’t very good, and the TV remote was missing. Again, we loved it there, except for a few minor things.

The quiet and privacy...Chop House, while sublime, is a very nice dining experience. Simple, but very tasty...our server was "Joey," knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Silly, but the standouts were the "Pork Bellies w Pecan Slaw and 7 layer Chocolate Cake...both good enough "to go to war for!" Pool and area was clean and comforting...nice grounds over-all for exploring.

Prefer a "walk-in shower," tubs make me uncomfortable as I am an older gentleman. Elevator in the main house would be a luxury...lol

I've stayed here twice now with my spouse, we love it! We love the resort feel, the rooms, the hot tub, the restaraunt and the staff!

There were some items in both rooms that needed to be repaired (lights hanging out of the ceiling, no body wash in the shower dispenser). Also the check in process through booking.com needs work for sure. But I'm a business owner and love the idea of the place, in fact i'm fascinated by it and would love the opportunity to meet the owners at some point. We had a late arrival and left early the next morning so we didn’t get to experience all that the resort had to offer. Our room was lovely and spacious. The resort is an older converted home, but has modern and clean bathrooms. Kevin was so helpful and explained the contactless check in process. Would recommend!!

The internet went out and was slow when up and running. Could’ve been the mountain area.

The location was great, and we loved our suite. I was impressed that we were upgraded to such a lovely room because of an isue with the original room we'd booked - and all of this before we set foot on the property (in other words, we did not have to complain about an issue to get the upgrade.) There was ground coffee in the room, along with a Mr Coffee (and filters!) which I also really appreciated. We had one dinner at Elevations downstairs, and it was excellent, with friendly and cheerful staff.

The only thing that might have been an issue is that the lovely marble in the bathtoom, on the bathroom floor, was slippery. A grab bar for getting into the tub to take a shower would be a great addition.

I was very pleased with our stay at Skylarana. I was looking forward to a getaway in the mountains and that is exactly what it felt like. You could see them from the pool deck and the restaurant area. There was also a beautiful fountain and walking trails. I called ahead to make sure we could do contactless check in and when I asked about the views they changed our studio to a cabin and we loved it. Two gorgeous balconies, one with a swing. It was so quiet and beautiful. The cabin came with a full kitchen, two futon-like couches and a beautiful shower.

The winding staircase between floors would not be good for a guest with any physical difficulties. The bathroom is on the first floor and the bedroom is on second floor.

We liked the hot tub, pool, and cabins because we had it to ourselves. If it was fully booked, not sure if it would’ve been the same.

Beds were very comfortable!! Prices at restaurant were not reasonable. Smell in cabin from cleaning supplies was overwhelming. Floors make black marks on feet if you go barefoot. Sky lights and ceiling windows in bedrooms have no darkening capability so we did not sleep very long. Outside lights stayed on all night and shined into the cabins bedrooms. Only views to the mountains is the restaurant outdoor seating. Trees need to be trimmed on tops majorly! Makes no sense to have Mountains but you can’t see them because of no tree maintenance.

The atmosphere was great. Chelsie was a lot of help when it came time for check in.

The parking wasn't that great for cabins. We had our elderly mother with us who has some trouble walking and we had to park up the hill. Plus someone blocked the road so we couldn't drive in front to pick her up
