Firstly be careful that there two hotels with the same name :) normally I thought we were staying the one with was closer to lake braies when I look at the google maps with this hotel name. And when I have noticed the day before arrival I was sad that we were far from the lake. But when we come to this lovely town Brunico I was very happy that we are staying here. Hotel is nicely decorated with a lovely breakfast. It is located just in the center. Brunico is a small town but it was just a nice place to stay for one night. If we come for dolomites again we would definitely stay here again :)

Loved everything. Only thing is when we arrive first the receptionist was helpful but he was always on the phone (personal talks) but when we were checking out another receptionist was there and he was so nice

I had an amazing stay in Brunico! This hotel was absolutely perfect – very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the balcony offered breathtaking views that I couldn’t get enough of. The breakfast was exceptional, with a variety of delicious options to start the day right. The staff provided outstanding service – friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I’m already looking forward to staying here again on my next visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Brunico!

The hotel Goldene Rose is truly spectacular! The location is perfect, right on the main street in Bruneck (Brunico), just a few steps from the Christmas markets. Despite being so central, it is still in a quiet spot away from any noise, offering a peaceful atmosphere. The room was incredibly spacious, with all the comforts you could need. It was warm and cozy, especially when outside it was below zero and snowing—just what you need to feel truly comfortable. The traditional and welcoming feel of the room, along with the beautiful view of Graben (Via Bastioni) and the surrounding areas, made the experience even more magical, especially with the snow! The bathroom was also impressive—very spacious and equipped with both a bath and a shower, making it ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, just like you’d expect in this region. They maintained professionalism while offering the warmth and comfort typical of a family-run establishment. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options on the buffet, all of high quality. The staff in the breakfast room was always present and very cordial.

I honestly can't think of anything negative! I will definitely return when I get the chance to visit Bruneck again!

Good location in city centre, for skiing there is 400 m till bus station for Kronplatz ski slopes. With walking it take you around 20 minutes from hotel to ski slopes. I suggest to leave the ski equipment in the ski depo under the gondola-of course for a fee, very used options, I suggest reservation.

Breakfast is good and you have plenty of options...only downside was they dont offer scrambeled eggs, omlettes, sausages or bacon, only boiled eggs are availiable. Awsome croisants 👌 one of the best I had anywhere.

The staff was very quick to communicate and answer my questions, which I appreciated. Check-in was easy, and the room was quite sizable! Comfy bed, quiet location. I felt safe as a female solo traveler. The cold breakfast the next morning had plenty of options!

Be aware when booking that this hotel does not have air conditioning. The rooms were hot and humid. They do have an air purifier that you can turn on to cool a small area, but not the whole room.

We were in superior bedroom. The pictures are a true representation of what you will get. The room was nice, clean, comfortable and very spacious. The bathroom included a shower box, a bath tub and a large sink and mirror. Staff was absolutely lovely. From the housekeeping to the reception staff everyone was exceptional. The location in the centre of Brunico, with easy access and commute to the nearby ski resort.

Fantastic location, very friendly service, comfortable and clean rooms. Right in the heart of the old town within walking distance of everything. Parking is right underneath the hotel.

Breakfast could have had a few more options. Parking was at an extra charge (which I understand though), not a problem

Spacious, clean room and bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff, from front desk to dining to housekeeping. They provided an electric kettle for my early morning coffee habit and watched my bags so I could ski on my last day. Central location and good value. Liked hearing the soothing sound of the nearby river.

Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, nothing fancy but OK.

A bit expensive for what you get but I guess it’s due to ski tourism (I wasn’t there for skiing).
