Service and friendliness of the staff

For a business stay it’s not very convenient in terms of location, but as a tourist it’s a perfect location.

Alba Palace is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Favare, Sicily. It's a beautiful mix of modern with ancient touches throughout. My room had a balcony that allowed for magnificent views of the church and down to the square. Breakfast was superb each morning and staff were highly attentive when it came to questions or directions. Arrival - check your email or WhatsApp for a map from the staff. If you're unaccustomed to driving in small Italian towns, it's not for the faint of heart. Streets are narrow and bumpy, but whatever you do: DO NOT HESITATE. Parking....parking the square, it's about 60ft from the front door of the hotel and much easier to navigate.

It’s rare to find something so modern and stylish in the heart of a medieval town, but this hotel is exactly that—a perfect blend of history and contemporary comfort. From the moment we arrived, the incredibly attentive staff made us feel at home, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Parking was free and conveniently located at the piazza right next to the hotel. The Art Moderne Museum is just a short 4-minute walk away, making it an ideal spot for culture lovers. And for a truly unforgettable dining experience, Stefano’s house, La Locanda di PalmaUliva, is a must-visit—just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality were exceptional, making our stay even more special. If you’re looking for an authentic yet stylish experience in this charming town, this is the place to be!

Comfortable hotel, perfectly appointed with everything you might need, even an in-house wine-tasting. Staff were polite and very helpful; rooms well appointed with very comfortable bed. A bit difficult to find on first arrival, but the directions provided were perfect. Parking at the hotel is tight, but staff were very helpful. Location, in historical centre of town, was ideal to reach Valley of the Temples and other local attractions. A perfect stay!

This is special place. If you're self driving, negotiating the mesmerising twists and turns in the tight lanes is well worth the effort. The location puts you right in the middle of what we felt was real Sicily, and only 20 minutes away from the Valley of the Temples. The hotel room was excellent: large, clean, great bathroom, very comfortable bed. All members of staff were very helpful and provided great service. The breakfast was very good. The real treat for us was the restaurant evening meal. Wonderful service and food.

The hotel was modern within an old exterior. The reception was pleasant. The breakfast at additional price was OK, but limited cerial choice (rice bubbles etc.)

The location in Fravara was a €35 taxi ride both ways to the tourist sites in Agrigento. It added to the already up-market hotel cost plus breakfast cost that others include in the tarrif.

We were very comfortable in superior double room 201. Very clean and quiet. Window view of decrepit neighboring buildings common to Favara was a weird “shabby chic,” given how handsome the hotel is. Shower pressure was strong and hot but water spilled into the bathroom. WiFi strong. Parking was provided at no extra cost by the hotel with valet service - a nice extra. Front desk staff (Rosonno) was very helpful. All other staff were friendly. Situated off the piazza in this sleepy, uninteresting town, the Alba has very good modern design and construction with excellent lighting everywhere. It’s 10 years old and in good shape. Only problems: s We were very comfortable in superior double room 201. Very clean and quiet. They were aware that the self-operated coffee machine in dining room could not make drinks sufficiently hot. They really need to fix that. Our dinner food was ordinary tasting and expensive for the portion size, and the tables had no table clothes (whereas they did the previous evening).

Friendly welcome. An interestingly designed modern hotel slotted into the historic setting. Room and bathroom was clean, with comfortable bed, and good views of church dome! Restaurant staff friendly too, accommodating a vegetarian. Favara is an interesting town for its history, albeit not particularly set up as a tourist town. The hotel reception was very helpful in guiding us to the "Farm"

Despite hotel's directions, weaving your way into narrow and steep streets of this town was a bit of a journey, even for someone reasonably confident as a driver!

The hotel offered a nice breakfast and the staff was friendly. The hotel is fairly new and modern. It was located very close to the piazza which offered some good places to eat. This was a good thing since the city itself is not easy to navigate.

Everything the room had a beautiful wooden high ceiling, dim lights and a lot of space. The bathroom was made in stones and was very large. The room was so clean and had a subtle and fine smell. The hotel is carefully designed with an exquisite mix between modern and authentic design. Having a gourmet dinner at the rooftop restaurant facing the cathedral was the icing on the cake.

The mattress was too hard, I prefer softer beds.
