This place is nothing short of extraordinary, and although we only stayed for one night, it left such a lasting impression that we can’t help but wish we’d stayed longer! The Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa is a hidden gem that offers everything you could possibly want in a luxury getaway. From the very first moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Their kindness and attentiveness were unmatched—from the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful “to-go” breakfast box they prepared for us when we had to leave early. Special shoutout to Mario and Luca, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. They made us feel truly at home. As for the resort itself, the setting is simply breathtaking. The views of the valley and surrounding countryside are unparalleled, while the eco-luxury design of the resort combines modern comfort with a peaceful, nature-infused atmosphere. We stayed in a room with a private pool, and it was the perfect way to unwind. Spacious, comfortable, and tranquil, it was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. Dining here was an experience in itself, and each meal exceeded expectations. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor, paired with some excellent wine recommendations. Dining with the stunning views of the valley and nearby temples was an unforgettable experience that we’ll cherish. The thoughtful touches, incredible staff, and amazing amenities made this an experience we’ll remember for years to come. We couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to come back—next time, for a much longer stay!

It's a shame we didn't book for longer, it's definitely worth it

The staff are all-round amazing! Very attentive, polite, helpful, considerate and always smiling! Communication before and during the stay was excellent. The property is beautifully located overlooking the Temple of Juno and the amazing Agrigento countryside and sea. It's peaceful and relaxing. The infinity pool has a swim-up bar and many loungers. Both breakfast and dinner at Ambrosia are highly recommended - particularly anything including pistachios! There is easy, secure parking available for guests. The rooms with the private pools are comfortable and recommended. Bathrooms are well sized with good water pressure, high end toiletries, and ample hot water. Nightly turndown service available, including a change of towels.

The staff was hands-down the most friendly and professional in our month in Italy. The resort couldn't have been more beautiful, and the integration of their restaurant with their orchards/farm was incredible. We met the owner, Enzo, and complimented him on what he had accomplished...and humbly he said, thank the staff, they make this place what it is.

More time here, so I could try out the spa-the owner gave us an impromptu tour-wish I had set something up ahead of time...the pool in our room was amazing, and the swim up bar and mail pool area were a delight-with the view of the temples-wow!

The staff made us feel at home, warm and attentive in a way only Sicily can offer. From here, a beautiful Sicily emerges — luminous, welcoming, unforgettable.

If I had one regret, it’s that I didn’t allow myself more time — more time to slow down, to disconnect, and to fully enjoy this peaceful place with the person I love. The Doric invites you to pause and savor life… and I wish we had stayed just a little longer to do exactly that.

Everything about this place was amazing. The view was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and good-sized. Everything was very modern. We had a room with the two-person jacuzzi tub, which was awesome. The bathroom has an amazing shower. Robes, ginormous towels, lots of accouterments. There is a fantastic restaurant on the property that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you really don't need to leave if you just want to lounge around. The pool area is really nice and overlooks the valley. You can see the Temple of Juno in the distance from any of the rooms. The Valley of the Temples is only about five minutes away.

As evening fell, the sophistication of the dinner experience surpassed all expectations, with each dish a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. But it was the view from the dining area that truly stole the show, offering a backdrop of unparalleled beauty. And when it was time to retire, the comfort of the rooms embraced me like a warm hug, while the panoramic vista outside the window took my breath away. This resort isn't just a destination; it's a sensory paradise that promises an unforgettable experience at every turn.

While my stay at the resort was nothing short of spectacular, one regret I have is not extending my visit. It's truly a pity that I didn't allocate more time to fully immerse myself in the panoramic views the resort offers. My failure to properly plan my schedule meant missing out on moments of tranquil contemplation and relaxation amidst such breathtaking scenery. This experience has taught me the importance of allowing oneself ample time for personal rejuvenation and exploration, a lesson I'll certainly carry with me for future travels.

This was a great base for touring around the Agrigento area. The main appeal for us was the private pool each room had. In summer, after a whole day off walking in the heat, relaxing in a pool with a bottle of wine and some snacks was the best. If it was winter, this would need less appealing. The room otherwise was very compact but clean and modernly appointed. Bed comfortable for us. The aircon is a bit noisy at night. We didn't have breakfast, instead we headed to local towns for coffee and cornetto. Are at the restaurant once. It was very good. But it's all about those private pools!

It’s a wonderful oasis. Greeted by exceptional staff, we were given a quick tour by cart around the property. Lemon trees, pistachio trees exceptional planting and aromas surrounded us. Their commitment to the sustainability of the environment and how it relates to the property is evident. Our room had a private pool overlooking the valley of the temples. It’s not super close but still an amazing view. Dinner and dinner service and breakfast again exceptional. Truly one of our best stays in Sicily. If we had more time another night would have been terrific.

Fantastic location, amazing facilities and granita on arrival was a huge hit with the family. Staff were all friendly and amazing and accommodating of our lack of Italian language! Breakfast was also fabulous and included, which we didn’t realise until afterwards!

We had a spa and it was a bit awkward waiting for it to heat up on request. It then got so hot we couldn’t get into it 45 deg+ and was cold again by morning. Some instruction on how to get this working would have been helpful. The main pool could also be heated - even on a hot day it was super cold.
