Warm, friendly welcome from Vincenzo on arrival (he also contacted us the day before with helpful info - Good English spoken). Beautiful traditional house, impeccably clean. Magnificent views from room and even better from roof terrace over the whole Valley of the Temples and the sea beyond. 20mins walk down to the Temple Park entrance. A few nice local restaurants and superb local food from 'La Panetteria & Rosticceria 2 minutes walk away. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace , prepared by Vincenzo's mother was truly wonderful. Room was very comfortable with Double and two singles, although we only needed the double.

Fantastic location within 15 minute walking distance of the archeological museum, 20 minutes to the Valley of the Temples and also within a five minute walk of a great row of restaurants. But the best thing of all was the warm, helpful and super efficient proprietor Francesca. From the moment of booking she was a great and prompt communicator, made sure everything was to our liking, prepared fabulous breakfasts, had great recommendations and made us feel welcome in every way. Plus she saved us when our car got stuck in the mud in the remote Torre Salsa. She was able to find and organize a tow truck to come haul us out (and all from the chair in the hairdresser salon it seems). She’s a resourceful, kind, fun, dynamo of a woman. She really made our 3 night stay special. Get her to tell you the origin of the home that is now the hotel and the beautiful tiles you see all around the rooms. Oh and there’s great views of the illuminated temples at night from the roof deck and also our balcony.

This property has everything especially if you are able to reserve the room with a balcony. We reserved Stella (Star) and it was perfect for our needs. What makes this property special besides the location are Vincenzo and his mother Messina. We were lucky enough to meet them because we arrived at the property before noon. Vincenzo was very welcoming and informative regarding the area and the Valley of the Temples. He also helps his mother Messina clean the rooms and serves breakfast. Messina prepared for us the most delicious, piping hot zucchini omelette with all the Italian fixings served on the rooftop terrace with a view of the Temple of Concordia. This breakfast will hold you for most of the day whether you are touring the temple complex or driving to your next destination. Francesca, the owner is very prompt in her communication with you and any special requests you may have regarding the property and restaurants nearby. The location is primo with lots of dining options within walking distance. We got food at the deli nearby and a very good pizza restaurant; brought it back to the B&B and ate on the rooftop looking at the Temple of Concordia.

Clean. Self-check in. Easy. We sat down on the roof terrace the next morning and they brought out freshly cooked breakfast. It was good (we got full and didn't finish). Staff were flexible and sent a taxi to pick us up from the station since there were no taxis when we arrived. NOTE: A taxi from the train station to the B&B is about 15 euro (cash only). Taxis to the ruins are about 10-15 Euro (again, cash only). Good location. It is possible to walk to the ruins as well, but mind the heat in August!

Our room as in front of a road with cars that went by at night. I recommend requesting a room facing away from the road.

Greeting & arrival was comfortable. We didn’t stay long as we had appointments. Not a problem to staff. They made dinner reservations on our behalf which were fantastic. Walked many kms. Slept like a log and then woke to a wonderful home cooked breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is the best position for Temples & Museum. All within walking distance. Nothing everything exceeded expectations.

This was a perfect spot to enjoy the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento especially at night when you could see them lit up from this location. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed to have a restful one night stay. We ate in a fabulous restaurant a few blocks from the location. We enjoyed the tour of the ancient relics and also squeezed in time to enjoy the beach and the Turkish steps! A wonderful stay!

Wow, what a find! Actually located in the archeological park, we woke up to a view of the temple of Juno from our terrace and breakfast on the roof overlooked Concordia! A traditional Sicilian house very tastefully updated and converted to offer fabulous accommodation. All modern facilities, while retaining its heritage - for example re-using the original floor tiles on the walls of the bathrooms. Nothing is too much trouble for Francesca and her really helpful team. Very easy to access when driving, on the edge of Agrigento, which is a huge bonus as it avoids the narrow streets in the town and entrance to the Valley of the Temples is just down the road Parking is on site.

Nothing - our stay was excellent

The location is great, 20 min walking distance to the Temples entrance. The staff Vincenzo and his mum very friendly and helpful. Parking right on site and Vincenzo helped us with baggage. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was delicious and plentiful with some home cooked Sicilian specialities, cereals and delicious yoghurt and yummy cakes.

We were allocated a bedroom with 4 beds that overlooked the street which carries a lot of traffic and was noisy. I had thought we had booked a double room overlooking the temples. When I queried this with the owner Francesca, I was told the name of the room we were allocated had been advised to me. Not sure how we were meant to understand which room that was. Also the shower stall in the bathroom needed to be cleaned. There is a heavy build up of soap scum and some mould on the grouting. There is a problem with plumbing. On both days we were there water came out from the shower stall all over the floor, after we had showered and the floor had been dry so it wasn't an overflow from the shower.

The location and owners we're wonderful! The room was perfect and the view of the temples from our balcony was breathtaking. Bonus view - there is also a roof top patio where you can see for miles! The welcoming and friendly owners were the best part of our stay. When we arrived were warmly welcomed with a sample of juice and a sesame treat. When we came down for breakfast they was waiting with many delicious regional foods, both sweet and savory. There were plenty of restaurants in walking distance. They have a private parking lot just steps from the enterance. You can easily walk to the temples or just take the short 3 minute drive. When we return to Agrigento we will definitely stay here again!

Great location for visiting Templi. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with all the savory and sweets served to us and cappuccino, espresso or Americano made to order. The rooftop view of the Temples and sea is lovely. Enjoyed seeing them lit up at night. Parking on site is a plus. I appreciate the coffee maker downstairs to get a cup before the breakfast hour. Restaurants in walkable distance.

Shower was leaking from the door. Told staff and they were aware and said it would be fixed.
