Our stay in Demora dei Templi, though just one night, was exceptional. The self service check-in was convenient and easy to follow, with parking just outside the entrance. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet with many good restaurants nearby. Two of our best memories from our Sicily trip were the view out our windows to the nighttime spectacle of the Valley of the Temples beautifully lit in soft gold yellow and the morning breafast served on the rooftop terrace - bright blue skies and gentle breezes making us regret our departure. The staff couldn't have been more gracious or accomodating.

Superb place to stay if visiting the Valley of the Temples, approx 15 min walk and there is a path which is lit at night on the main road to the temples. A view of the temples from the room and also from the rooftop terrace which is where breakfast was served, so a stunning place to sit and have a coffee with fresh fruit & yoghurt, fresh pastries etc. A few restaurants are in easy walking distance, although if walking in to town for more choice it is about 20 mins uphill. Plenty of parking and quiet place. Would absolutely stop here again without hesitation.

Valley of the Temples. Lovely building on a countryside setting with beautiful views from the rooftop over the valley and ancient temples. Steep roads and path downhill was approx 20+ minutes from the central train station, which was walkable down but would not recommend the walk back up, and buses are not reliable but are doable. We had a lovely room with an ensuite and comfortable bed. Everything was airy, fresh, and clean. Breakfast was very good with cooked omelette and briscetta, pastries, cakes, coffee, and juice served up on the rooftop

It was self check-in for us while others were greeted and given a tour 🤔 We had to directly contact the owners to ask for a passcode to connect Netflix on our tv. The walk down to the Valley of the Temples was straight forward and easy 1.4 ks. It was a very hot four hours walking the Valley, so the walk back up to our accommodation was tough.

Lovely property, beautiful touches everywhere. Communication very clear through WhatsApp from host Francesca with pictures of the building, self check in directions - super easy- btw and some suggestions of things to do! The room was inviting, nicely decorated, comfortable, and immaculate!! Loved the quaint, little balcony overlooking the Valley of Temples, and the sea in the distance. Stunning. The breakfast was really nice- lots of fresh, regional food! The women who served us were warm and friendly. We ate on the terrace with its gorgeous views, food was served beautifully table side - Italian style yogurt with pistachio, sweetened ricotta, pears and mortadella, a wonderful pound cake with marmalade, and an almond cake, zucchini and cheese omelette, fresh fruit, delicious cappuccino (two for me actually)! There was also a self serve area with juice, croissants cookies, and Nutella style spreads. The vibe and experience at Dimora Dei Templi was simply wonderful. We can’t wait to come back again. We highly recommend visiting the Valley of Temples in the evening. Incredible experience.

Warm, friendly welcome from Vincenzo on arrival (he also contacted us the day before with helpful info - Good English spoken). Beautiful traditional house, impeccably clean. Magnificent views from room and even better from roof terrace over the whole Valley of the Temples and the sea beyond. 20mins walk down to the Temple Park entrance. A few nice local restaurants and superb local food from 'La Panetteria & Rosticceria 2 minutes walk away. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace , prepared by Vincenzo's mother was truly wonderful. Room was very comfortable with Double and two singles, although we only needed the double.

Fantastic location within 15 minute walking distance of the archeological museum, 20 minutes to the Valley of the Temples and also within a five minute walk of a great row of restaurants. But the best thing of all was the warm, helpful and super efficient proprietor Francesca. From the moment of booking she was a great and prompt communicator, made sure everything was to our liking, prepared fabulous breakfasts, had great recommendations and made us feel welcome in every way. Plus she saved us when our car got stuck in the mud in the remote Torre Salsa. She was able to find and organize a tow truck to come haul us out (and all from the chair in the hairdresser salon it seems). She’s a resourceful, kind, fun, dynamo of a woman. She really made our 3 night stay special. Get her to tell you the origin of the home that is now the hotel and the beautiful tiles you see all around the rooms. Oh and there’s great views of the illuminated temples at night from the roof deck and also our balcony.

This property has everything especially if you are able to reserve the room with a balcony. We reserved Stella (Star) and it was perfect for our needs. What makes this property special besides the location are Vincenzo and his mother Messina. We were lucky enough to meet them because we arrived at the property before noon. Vincenzo was very welcoming and informative regarding the area and the Valley of the Temples. He also helps his mother Messina clean the rooms and serves breakfast. Messina prepared for us the most delicious, piping hot zucchini omelette with all the Italian fixings served on the rooftop terrace with a view of the Temple of Concordia. This breakfast will hold you for most of the day whether you are touring the temple complex or driving to your next destination. Francesca, the owner is very prompt in her communication with you and any special requests you may have regarding the property and restaurants nearby. The location is primo with lots of dining options within walking distance. We got food at the deli nearby and a very good pizza restaurant; brought it back to the B&B and ate on the rooftop looking at the Temple of Concordia.

Clean. Self-check in. Easy. We sat down on the roof terrace the next morning and they brought out freshly cooked breakfast. It was good (we got full and didn't finish). Staff were flexible and sent a taxi to pick us up from the station since there were no taxis when we arrived. NOTE: A taxi from the train station to the B&B is about 15 euro (cash only). Taxis to the ruins are about 10-15 Euro (again, cash only). Good location. It is possible to walk to the ruins as well, but mind the heat in August!

Our room as in front of a road with cars that went by at night. I recommend requesting a room facing away from the road.

We had a great time at Dimora. The location is perfect to tour the Valle dei Templi. It was for us an easy walk to the Juno gate. The B and B was great. Our room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Parking was such a bonus. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious and abundant. Perhaps the best part of the stay was meeting Vincenzo. He was kind, helpful and so nice to share a conversation with us.

Greeting & arrival was comfortable. We didn’t stay long as we had appointments. Not a problem to staff. They made dinner reservations on our behalf which were fantastic. Walked many kms. Slept like a log and then woke to a wonderful home cooked breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is the best position for Temples & Museum. All within walking distance.
